A picturesque farmhouse/ watermill, beautifully situated on 2 acres of land on the River Llugwy. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the center of Betws-y-coed with its shops, pubs and restaurants. This property was voted by Sykes Cottage Rentals as the best rental property for 2013. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and a fun place for your children to play / sleeps 8 maximum 6 adults 4 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, no pets.Off road parking

A weeks stay in Betws y Coed

Firstly thank you very much to the owners for letting us rent this lovely cottage,we were left to our own devices with as much privacy as you can ask for.We were both surprised on the size of the cottage the website photos do not do this place justice its huge.We only slept in one of the four bedrooms which was the ensuite one.A very comfy bed,a large deep bath along the corridor was a pleasure to bathe in.The old fashion furniture gave the cottage loads of character along with everything else.The grounds around and upto the river were a pleasure to walk round with two sets of table and chairs to sit at.There was plenty of re cycling info which was appreciated too.The location was bang on although 200mtrs from the shops you couldnt hear a thing just the gentle running of the river.We tried all the hotels for food and drink and couldnt complain about any of them,we were central to Snowdon,Beddgelert,Llandudno,even drove up to Angelesey.We had a first rate holiday and would recommend this cottage and location to anybody 10/10 thanks again.Regards Mr and Mrs Petherbridge

A good week spent with our friends even though the weather was not at its best. The cottage was in a beautiful setting and was warm and had comfortable beds. Overall the cottage was interesting and because of its age it would have been nice to have had some information about its past, as well as a comprehensive visitor guide detailing contacts for nearest doctors, dentists, hospitals, restaurants etc as is normal in previous cottages we have stayed in - not just leaving this to an app. The step down into the kitchen should have been highlighted as being the same slate as the kitchen floor it was all too easy to miss this and trip/fall.

Great Location. Close to all amenities and fabulous walks. House itself very pretty & well equipped

Would recommend this lovely cottage. Lots of privacy whilst being central to all amenities. Royal Oak Hotel was great for lunch and all walks in the vicinity were reasonably close. Bodnant Gardens was really worth a visit as was the Welsh Food Centre where we filled up on supplies of excellent farm produce. Would visit again.

Spacious character property very conveniently located near amenities. Great for families.

Located next to a river that was good for a dinghy. Internet worked well. Lots of utensils but necessary to bring own scales and whisk. Would return again.

Perfect kids holiday

We had a wonderful time at this cottage in Betws y Coed. It was a very peaceful week set in gorgeous surroundings yet very centrally located making it perfect for walking into the village for shopping and eating. Close by are multiple hiking trails suitable for all ages and next to the cottage is a small river perfect for skipping stones. By far this was our most enjoyable trip to the UK and none of our girls (ages 9-11) wanted to leave.

Great House and Location

The Property was as described. We were a party of 6 adults and two children and we all enjoyed the house and the garden.

Lovely house, big rooms, plenty of space.Practically in the Village centre, though you'd never know it from the house as it is quite private and wonderfully peaceful.Well located for access to the village and forest walks and within easy reach of the many places to see and visit in North Wales particularly.
