Comfortable stay in charming house

  • 5 of 5

Our family, two adults and three children had a wonderful week in St Antonin Noble Val soaking up the village atmosphere and visiting nearby medieval villages. Our house was spotless on arrival and was furnished in wonderful rustic style. It had all modern comforts. I enjoyed preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen and eating the wonderful local produce in the courtyard/terrace. The house is a two minute walk from the bakery for your morning baguette and a two minute walk from the village square where you can enjoy an evening drink. The view from the house onto the countryside is beautiful. I would recommend this house to friends and relatives with one caveat. The stairs which is a traditional wooden stairs is quite steep and would not suit families with toddlers.

Wonderful week

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I were lucky enough to enjoy a magical week in St Antonin staying at this wonderful property. The town house is centrally located to the village centre and is very well appointed with all the creature comforts and more provided. The furnishings make the stay very homely and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Great house in the perfect French village

  • 5 of 5

We spent one lovely month at the De Rooy's house in St. Antonin and hated to leave even then! The location at the edge of the village is perfect; it is quiet and overlooks a beautiful garden to St. Antonin's magnificent cliffs. However, when you can tear yourself away from the view, the backyard, or the terrace, it is only a 2-minute walk to everything the village has to offer -- 2 bakeries, about a dozen great restaurants, 3 cafes, a cinema, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. etc. A car is completely unnecessary, except for day trips to some of the amazing towns in the area such as Cordes sur Ciel, Penn, Najac, Toulouse, Montaban, Cahors, and on and on and on. It is a beautiful part of France to explore! Richard and Elaine welcomed us with provisions, i.e. food and wine were in the fridge, and they were available throughout the stay to answer any questions. All in all, it was such a wonderful vacation spot, we plan to stay there again next fall!

This property is in an ideal location featuring stunning scenery around the beautiful medieval town. The house is private yet so close to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. There are loads of outdoor activities such as the river for canoeing /kayaking, hiking, swimming as well as many nearby historic villages and towns. The local food and Sunday market are also fabulous.

  • St Antonin is a wonderful place to experience a truly authentic French holiday. The town has numerous bars, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance from the house. Alternatively, you can purchase tasty market produce from St Antonin (Sunday market) or other nearby towns and enjoy cooking in the well equipped kitchen. It is also a great place to use as a base to explore the many beautiful towns and villages of the area.
