Grade 2 listed terraced cottage situated in the pretty village of Tremadog (0.5 miles from Porthmadog). The village's centrepiece is its iconic square set against a breathtaking cliff-face backdrop which is a 1 minute walk away. The square has several good amenities including two nice pubs with restaurants, a Bistro, a small convenience store and a fish and chip shop which, in our opinion, sells the best fish and chips in the area.

The cottage includes 2 bedrooms, central heating, TV with freesat that has freetime, giving BBC Iplayer, 4oD etc. It has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, gas hob and electric oven, toaster, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, The bathroom has a large shower area. Small enclosed rear yard with sunny outside seating area. Master bedroom has views of the mountains, and a king size bed with memory foam mattress.

The town of Porthmadog is the gateway to the outstandingly beautiful Llyn Peninsular and, apart from the famous and beautiful Black Rock Sands which are a five minute drive away, amenities also include various shops and restaurants and the famous Welsh Highland Railway and Ffestiniog railways for trips into Snowdonia. Mount Snowdon itself is also easily reached with its famous mountain railway a must to enjoy.

The surrounding area is perfect for walking (with the North Wales Coastal footpath on the doorstep), rock climbing and is a 5 mile drive into the beautiful village of Bedgelert which also has further outstanding walks.

Parking on the road outside the property is available with nearby parking in the village square.

Fantastic!

As a young family and first time experience with renting via home away this was truly great experience. House was warm, comfortable and peaceful. It is so well equipped that you don't need anything. It is perfectly located to explore all aspects that North Wales has to offer and conveniently located next to small village square with shops/pubs and 5 min drive to supermarkets. It is a very peaceful, safe and quiet village and we all had great relaxing time. Terry is a very good host - prompt with communication, information and guidance. Thank you for a lovely wine on our arrival! Definitely will recommend and for our next trip to Wales we will be back!

Great base for discovering North Wales

We enjoyed our time in Tremadog. The house is well furnished with all appliances including an oven and cook top. It is located just off the square with easy parking and close food options. Terry provided clear detailed information and a welcome pack, which was appreciated. Tremadog makes a great base for exploring Mt Snowden and further north to Anglesey.

All you could wish for

A very well situated property for exploring the North Wales area. The owners have provided all you could wish for - and more - to ensure that you have a good stay. It is very clean and comfortable, and we slept very well. Nearby are 2 local pubs serving good food (and beer) and an excellent chippy if, like us, you prefer not to cook on holiday. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property and hope to return sometime.

The property close to all amenities

The property was well represented and well equipped to meet our needs and also very clean. Property also close to where we wanted to visit.

The owner provided tea ,sugar coffee, milk and a bowl of fruit which was lovely.

We would recommend the property. near to restaurants and shop.
