We have both been frequent visitors to Spain and have always liked the mainland and its islands. On a visit to Benalmadena in 2005 we fell in love with the area, the locals, the restaurants, bars and the what it had to offer.. When we had the opportunity to purchase a property in this area we jumped at the chance and have never regretted it for one minute. We are situated in a stunning area between Benalmadena pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel and the views and surrounding areas are just simply spectacular. We loved how much it had to offer for all ages and types of people.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment not only has pool views but also has views of the mountains, sea and golf course. The apartment also benefits from having a local hospital and Accident and Emergency about 500 yards away giving peace of mind when on holiday with family and friends.

Good, clean and secure apartment

Well kept, clean, compact, comfortable and secure apartment, with good facilities. Good information pack and help provided by the owner and we were well met by host company. We really enjoyed our week's stay here. We had a car which was very valuable for getting around as the pretty old town and the beach areas of Benalmadena were a little too far for us to walk. Local busses do run to both places from nearby stops but they are only, roughly, once an 1hr and stop at around 20.30. The surrounding par 3 golf course weaves between the apartments and provides a very pleasant backdrop to the area. Overall extremely good value for money.

Home away from Home

Thank you to Anthony and family for allowing us to stay at your wonderful apartment. We arrived at around 9pm at Malaga Airport. We had a hire car which was definitely needed and it was only a 15 minute drive to the apartment. The management company was there waiting for us and directed us to our secure parking space under the apartment, there is a lift from the parking right to the front door. The apartment is absolutely lovely, bright and very clean. The balcony over looks the swimming pool which consists of a large pool and then also a baby pool - Ideal for our 3 year old son. The apartment is equipped with everything you could need. There is a pretty steep hill up to the main road but from there it is down hill into town, it takes roughly 35-40 minutes to walk and then a taxi back cost around €7. Arroyo de la Miel is a lovely town, lots of restaurants to choose from and some great deals like a bottle of wine and 4 tapas for $7.95. Bil Bil house next door to the apartment is also a brilliant little place to have on your door step for a drink or some food. We ventured out to Mijas in the mountains (words cant explain how beautiful this place is) and defiantly try the secret garden restaurant, also the Pueblo is a very cute town.

We would definably come back to stay - Thank you once again.

Great apartment in fantastic location

We have just spent 2 weeks at this apartment and we are gutted to be coming home. We are a small family of 2 adults and one four year-old, and there was more than enough room for us all. The apartment would easily sleep 4 and if the sofa was swapped for a sofa bed I'd even say maybe up to 6 could stay at a push, it is a lovely spacious place. The 2 bedrooms are of a decent size and the sitting/dining room is light and comfortable. The balcony is large and covered (something which we were glad of in the 38° heat) and you can see the swimming pool from here just 20 metres away. I would say if anything that the photos don't do the place justice and it was a pleasant surprise to turn up to find the place even nicer than we were hoping. The apartment is really well equipped and even has a push chair for those with young kids. The swimming pool isn't huge but never felt particularly busy, and it is a great sun trap for lazy days by the pool. One thing that future guests might appreciate is a couple of deck chairs to take down.

The apartment is not really in the centre of things which suited us fine but the Bil Bil house next door is open late and is reasonably priced for food and beer. We hired a car so tended to drive the couple of miles to the sea front but it would be walkable, although the walk back uphill in the heat might be a challenge. There is a bus stop with regular services right outside. I would definitely recommend visiting the pueblo, again less than 2 miles away, a stunning traditional Spanish village with incredible views of the sea and the main town.

The main town is crammed with bars and restaurants and due to this they often try to out price each other; with a bit of a shop around you can get a pint on the sea front for €1.40 and some really nice fresh food. We tended to eat out at night at the stunning marina, although we also enjoyed relaxing on the apartment's balcony and eating at home. There are several reasonably priced supermarkets just a walk or very short drive away; the local Lidl is great as this was still open on the Sunday when we got in after 9pm.

Modern and clean apartment

Very clean and modern apartment with all amenities to make your stay comftorable. Very secure apartment with underground parking. I would recommend a car if you want to get to the beach, restaurants etc but only a 7 min walk to the local supermarket. Perfectly positioned for the golf courses. Brilliant correspondence from the owner. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet and relaxing.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is clean well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The apartment is in a central safe neighborhood. Although we never personally met Mr Franks he was was in constant contact with us via email. He responded quickly to any questions we had and provided valuable information on places to see and things to do. There is local bus service right outside the door. The bus runs approximately every 45 minutes and will take you into Malaga or the village of Pueblo. The village of Pueblo is very interesting, authentic and full of great restaurants. Unfortunately due to Spanish Law we were unable to use the pool. We had to sit and watch the ducks enjoy the water. It is a good 20 minute walk to the beach. The area is very hilly.

Regarding the pool being closed, unfortunately your stay was still classed as pre season and it is quite common across Spain for pools not to be open until June. However, we are fortunate as a development that they open one of the 5 pools sometime in May and this is available to our guests.

Nice Family Let

The booking of the apartment was quick and simple and we had great communication from the owner during the process. He was more than happy to answer any queries. We were travelling with young children and the apartment had the equipment required to cater for that. There wasn't a microwave on arrival (use ours frequently for the baby food) but as soon as we spoke to the management they went out and brought a brand new one and set it up for us. The apartment with equipped with everything else required. Management company were very friendly and easy to contact. The apartment itself was very clean and styled nicely. Safe & secure within locked gated community. No noise form neighbours whilst there and a very quiet complex. The location was ideal with a bus stop directly outside which would take you to the station and other areas. Ideal base to sightsee from. Would stay again if in the area. Pub/Eaterier on the corner with nearby swing park for the children also. Would recommend to all. More than happy with our stay & with the helpful owners. Amazing value considering we were there during half term also
