Old Masters Cottage is a 5 star holiday cottage (see tripadvisor) which is steeped in history with the main part of the cottage dating back to the late 1800's next to the Old School House restaurant on the edge of the village. The cottage stands on the old boys school site and has many stories from the locals. The cottage has recently been subject to a substantial program of renovations and redecoration and is now a much loved and beautifully presented holiday home, which can sleep up to 8 very comfortably in 4 lovely bedrooms. The cottage also offers private off road parking and is further complimented by the quiet enclosed English cottage garden.

Very good holiday house.

  • 4 of 5

Very nice and comfortable house. Had to remove the shade from my bedside lamp to get enough light to read in bed. No lock on toilet door. Had great trouble finding the cutlery drawer!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

House is lovely - warm and comfortable and very well supplied in terms of equipment - we tend to cook for ourselves so sharp knives and a good range of pots and pans is essential.

A fantastic holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely holiday cottage finished to a very high standard and we have rented it twice to date. The description is very accurate, the property is very clean, well maintained and the facilities are excellent. WIFI is fast, there is a washing machine with dryer, a super range to cook on, a children's play room and secure parking area. Location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire area and Beverley. Communication with owners is great, security deposit refunded promptly. Highly recommended. We love it.
