Fabulous Break

  • 5 of 5

Blossom Tree Cottage is a fabulous place to stay. The property was modern, clean, well furnished and had everything you need in a home from home. Geoff & Susan were great hosts, giving helpful advice as required. We only stayed a few days this time but I feel sure we'll be back for a longer break before too long.

Everything & more that you could wish for in a holiday home

Without doubt the best holiday self catering property we have ever stayed in. Ideally situated as a base for visiting North Wales with facilities second to none. We had the opportunity also to meet the owners who couldn't have been more helpful. A really excellent holiday break.

My wife and I together with our 19 year old son had a lovely, relaxing stay here in September 2016. It is difficult to write anything really that hasn't already been said in other reviews - the cottage is indeed lovely - exceptionally clean, very comfortable and well-decorated. The photographs on the website give a very accurate portrayal of the property apart from not really being able to see in addition that there is a very handy small table and 2 bar stools in the kitchen, along with another television.

Although we did not get to meet Geoff on this occasion, it was lovely to meet Sue on our arrival who gave us lots of useful information - there are also leaflets and books on the locality in the cottage. We had 2 lovely meals worthy of particular mention at local restaurants - La Dolce Vita (an Italian restaurant) in Rhos on Sea where we were made very welcome and also at the relatively newly opened Porth Eirias Restaurant. The walk into Rhos on Sea is very pleasant and there are plenty of shops, tea rooms and takeaways there. The cottage is also ideally placed for quick proximity to Llandudno and incredibly close to the quiet beach at Penrhyn Bay- just at the end of the street.

If we really looked to suggest any improvement, it would be to provide a bit more quantity in the way of mugs, cutlery and china etc so as to be able to make more economic use of the dishwasher and not have to wash things up by hand in between - but that really is nit-picking!! We had a fantastic stay and would hope to visit again soon.

We were made very welcome by Sue Wych. The house is very well furnished and the beds very good A gerat TV, heating if required and parking for two cars. It is only a short drive from Llandudno which is on the up as a seaside resort. We very lucky with very good weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Very clean, attractive cottage in a great location

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is in a convenient location with a short walk to the beach and a longer, very pleasant walk to Little Orme's Head. We would definitely recommend it as a location for visiting Snowdonia and Anglesey. It is a good size and has the benefit of off-road parking. The owners, Sue and Geoff, were very welcoming on arrival and the cottage was very clean. Although there were good facilities we could not find a shaver point, which could have been a problem and supplies of pedal bin bags and toilet rolls were limited. However, overall the cottage more than met our needs.

From the Owner

On our way home just a few minutes from the beach we passed the prettiest little cottage and new instantly that it was the one, its has a lovely feel to it , we sat in the garden which is such a calming place and has a blossom tree hence the name. Children over 12 are very welcome.

From the Owner

Even though Blossom Tree Cottage is only two minutes from the lovely Bay it has a private feel from the moment you open the gate to the front garden with its bushes and ornaments round to the side garden and the good sized drive way all make it unique.
