About Geoff Wych

We ran a successful Guest House Cedar Lodge in Llandudno for the last 13 years retiring in August 2015 we loved our job and on trip advisor hit the number two spot ! missing work we decided a holiday home to let would keep us busy.

Geoff Wych purchased this cottage in 2015

Why Geoff Wych chose Penrhyn Bay

On our way home just a few minutes from the beach we passed the prettiest little cottage and new instantly that it was the one, its has a lovely feel to it , we sat in the garden which is such a calming place and has a blossom tree hence the name. Children over 12 are very welcome.

What makes this cottage unique

Even though Blossom Tree Cottage is only two minutes from the lovely Bay it has a private feel from the moment you open the gate to the front garden with its bushes and ornaments round to the side garden and the good sized drive way all make it unique.

Lovely and well equipped comfortable cottage

Lovely autumn week, great location for Snowdonia, Llandudno and all around. Cottage had good parking, shop and fish and chip shop near by and very good. Owners were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Would love to return in future.

Tucked away, great stay. Beach within 3 minutes walking gentle feet, everything to recomend

  • 4 of 5

Booked a long weekend stay for myself and Mum and Dad, immaculate clean, very large double room and lovely twin. Loads of storage in bedrooms, bathroom great and shower amazing full power hot.

Lounge cosy with TV, twin sofa's for 4, dinning table suit 4, and kitchen with TV also so great as cooking and TV work a treat. Off Road parking is fab, nice little court room garden, and seating.

This is a lovely tucked away place and best suited to adults as designed, all you could wish for. Just a couple of little hints, adults tend to be cooking kind of people so slow crock pot in kitchen, casserole dishes large, salad bowl; maybe some Tupperware for food storage. Frying pan fine for 2, not for 4, just more kitchen stuff really.Wine rack maybe, coffee machine, just a touch of wow in there and ok more kitchen stuff.

Also, no DVD in lounge I did find a disappointment, as most people will take or look for hook up to there ipads. Stuck with free view is not great. Please also no games, pack of cards, board games, just a thought.

Its a fabulous place, Sue and Geoff are fabulous, location is perfect for doing the area, and is a top quality relaxed place to stay, and we loved it. Thank you, just need to add those little trimmings that appeal to adults to add an extra gem, to a diamond of a place.

Lovely place and nice people

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in lots of properties over the years, this is one of he best, everything you need, wifi, dishwasher, and decent Tv, but most importantly, a good shower and very comfortable beds, our holiday has been ruined in the past because of backache from a terrible mattress. So if you are concerned about sleep, don't be the mattresses are all good quality.

The smallest church in wales can be found only 15 minutes walk towards Rhos on sea, it is really pretty right on the sea front, and still holds mass on a Sunday morning.Another must see is the Seals in Angel bay which is part of the little Orme there are lovely views , again this takes about 15 minutes to walk up from the cottage
