This luxury one bedroom London holiday rental is set in one of the most charming and quintessentially ‘London’ parts of the capital. The apartment is located in the ground floor of a beautiful Mews house on a beautiful cobbled Mews street. The Mews street is more than reminiscent of the ‘old’ London and walking on to the street you will know you are somewhere special. It is the perfect home-away-from-home for a stay in the capital.
The Mews house is located less than ten minutes walk from both Earls Court and High Street Kensington tube stations. High Street Kensington is close to tourist attractions such as Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens, London’s museum quarter and the edge of Hyde Park. The high street area is also one of London’s more exclusive shopping and dining areas.
The London holiday home is accessible for disabled guests as it all sits on the ground floor. Please note that there is a step to enter the apartment and that no disabled modifications have been made to the property.
Entering from Radley Mews, you come straight into the main living space. The living space has a cosy feel which is perfect for relaxing in during London’s often changeable weather. You’ll find a gorgeously comfortable, large sofa and comfy armchair to kick back and relax in. There is also some nifty storage as well as flat screen TV and WiFi.
Off the living room is the generously sized master bedroom complete with king size bed, sleeping two guests. The rest of the room also includes a large fitted wardrobe with considerable space. The room is decorated and finished in a modern style and to a very high standard, as is the rest of the Mews house. Recline on sumptuous sheets and beautifully soft bed linen.
For a third guest, we can provide you with an extra fold out bed, sleeping one guest, which can be set up in the living space.
The real star of the Mews house holiday rental is the fabulous and spacious fitted kitchen. Appliances include an induction hob and Nespresso coffee maker, as well as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and large fridge. Please see the facilities list below for more information. To cook with, there is a built in oven for preparing fantastic meals as well as microwave for quicker dinners or long lazy lunches made with produce from the area’s great markets. The kitchen space also includes a simple yet elegant dining area with seating for two with a fold down table.
The secluded kitchen and dining space makes a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying meals with a glass of wine, of two!
At the opposite end of the kitchen to the entrance are beautiful wide, double wooden doors. Behind this is the stunning fitted marble bathroom. Here you will find a gorgeously spacious walk in shower enclosure as well as sink on the marble counter and a WC. We have provided all your toiletries and travel essentials as well as plush, fluffy white towels.
The Mews house is situated just off Stratford Road which locals describe as a ‘village’ within London. Here you will find a great selection of local shops including bakeries, hairdressers, beauty spas and fantastic pubs to name just a few.
Local tube stations include Earls Court on the Piccadilly line with direct access to Heathrow terminals 1,2 & 3 in around 25 minutes and to St Pancras International, the London terminus of Eurostar in around 20 minutes as well as services across the capital.
Any arrivals after 18.00 will be subject to a late check in fee.

Our stay in London was made perfect by the outstanding quality of this house. It is well appointed and cleverly designed to maximise space, has everything you could possibly think of for a home from home experience. The bathroom is luxurious, loved the under floor heating, very quiet so a good nights sleep was had by all. The location is only a five minute walk to the tube station, and the lovely shops, restaurants on the high street. We didn't want to leave and will definately returning in the new year to what we now call 'our London pad'
A Fine Choice
After a month on Radley Mews, I can tell you that it's a fine choice: comfortable, convenient, well equipped and quiet. I chose this apartment because it had high-end, full-size appliances (washer and separate dryer, refrigerator and separate freezer) and because it was near good supermarkets (Waitrose, Whole Foods, M&S Food Hall) and three Tube lines (at Earl's Court, High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road). Karen, the rental agent, could not have been more helpful. Two things to know: the luxurious marble bathroom is right off the kitchen, separated from it by large wood pocket doors. Since I was the only occupant, this was no problem, but it could be awkward for couples or threesomes. And there is no window in either kitchen or bath (each room has an exhaust fan).
First Class Proparty in Excellent Location
Nice property in excellent location. Property is small but adequate for two people. There was a roll away bed available for a third person but I don't know where there would be room to set it up other than in the kitchen. I have one recommendation for anyone staying here. Be sure to get a thorough orientation on the use all appliances. The appliances in this property are all top of the line and high tech. The cook top, or "hob" as it is called in England is extremely high tech. Even with the written manual I could not figure out how to use it. The eyes do not get hot to the touch and consequently you do not think that it is working. Management was kind enough to send someone by to demonstrate it's use. As stated, the eyes do not get hot to the touch when they are turned on, yet when you place a pot on the eye and place liquid or food in the pot it begins to cook. Take the pot off the eye and the eye is cool to the touch. Go figure. I would certainly recommend this property for a stay in London.
Perfect location, modern, clean and cozy
We stayed for 10 days at this property and had a great time. The location is excellent and is very close to shops, restaurants and pubs. When we first entered we did notice that it was small but we got used to that. Of more importance was that the bathroom and kitchen are very modern and well equipped.
Much appreciated was the service we received from Karen at Heritage. Nothing was too much trouble and she was available whenever I called, even when she was on vacation. There were a couple of minor repairs that needed doing and she was on to it the same day, even after 5pm.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and will book it again.
High quality apartment in a great location professionally managed
quietly located in a mew house, still good infrastructure (food shopping, cafes, restaurants) very near by and only 5mins to Kensington high street.
Wonderful place to stay
We spend seven nights at this flat and everything about it was first-rate. We were met upon arrival by a young man who introduced us to the property and made sure we knew where to find everything and how to use the appliances. The place was recently renovated with top-of-the -line fixtures and appliances, and was scrupulously clean. All the essentials were there, including coffee, condiments, soaps etc, and the bed, bed linens and towels were first rate.
Located in a quiet mews, but close to everything - three tube stations within a ten-minute walk, a supermarket a 15-minute walk away. Among the many highlights were the Italian deli just around the corner (the lasagne is to die for!!), Chez Patrick across the street where we had an incredible final night dinner, and the Devonshire pub where we enjoyed several nightcaps. Holland Park was a beautiful oasis, and a walk through Notting Hill was very worthwhile.
There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this property - it exceeded all expectations, and the agency looking after the rental was a delight to deal with.

Activity and Interests
Some of the most charming and quintessentially English parts of London are the little mews streets dotted about the capital. Typically set aback from busier main roads with pretty houses, London’s mews houses provided a secluded and elegant haven from the hustle and bustle of the city. At Radley Mews, you can enjoy the peace and seclusion of one of London’s prettiest mews streets whilst being close to a wealth of attractions by being based in the Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Close by your holiday home are both Kensington high street with gorgeous shops, bars, pubs and restaurants as well as South Kensington, London’s museum quarter. You’ll find a rich world of cultural heritage here with the capitals best cluster of free museums alongside iconic buildings like Kensington Palace Gardens and the Royal Albert Hall.
The world famous Natural History Museum is a short 15 minute walk or 8 minute bus ride from the Mews House. The museum is one of London’s real gems, a world renowned centre for research into the natural world as well as being a fantastic day out. You can come face-to-face with a T-Rex skeleton or take a journey through the Earth sculpture as you explore the Red Zone. In the summer months the grounds play host to the ‘Sensational Butterflies’ experience. Here you can get close up with giant butterflies and moths as they fly around and land on you. In winter the museum also hosts a ice rink.
Across the street is another icon museum, the Science Museum. The Science Museum caters to people of all ages and can keep both young and old enthralled. There are interactive displays, galleries and attractions as well as the 3D Imax cinema showing fantastic science related documentaries and films.
Finally we come to the Victoria and Albert Museum. Named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, it is one of many monuments in the area to the Royal couple. Explore exhibitions of art, jewellery, design and clothing from the past 3000 years. Highlights include furniture, sculptures, fine ceramics and textiles.
Kensington high street seamlessly blends Victorian and modern architecture to create an area which emotes real elegance. You’ll get a feel of polished refinement and perfect finishing. Don’t worry, behind this Kensington has a genuinely inviting nature. High street highlights include Urban Outfitters and Whole Foods Market. Stop by the large organic food store and market set in a former department store. Find a delicious, healthy and reasonably priced lunch or dinner to eat in store or on the go.
Above the busy Kensington High Street you can find the hidden oasis of Kensington Roof Gardens. Sitting atop fabulous old buildings, the area is home to the award winning restaurant, Babylon. There are also beautiful gardens, four resident flamingos and fantastic bars to boot.
Kensington is home to some of London’s largest and most beautiful green spaces. At one end of Kensington High Street you’ll find Kensington Palace, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in their London residence before exploring the palace museum.
Explore the beautifully kept Kensington gardens which lead into another Royal Park and one of London’s most instantly recognisable landmarks, Hyde Park. The two parks cover a vast swath of West London and are home to numerous cafe’s as well as the Serpentine Gallery and the Serpentine and Long Water lakes. Enjoy them on a sunny day by hiring a pedal boat or by taking a relaxing and cooling dip in the water. Or just relax and enjoy the beautiful green oasis.
The Mews House is under 10 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station. From here you can travel directly to St Pancras station in 22 minutes, connecting with services across the UK and international services via Eurostar. You can also reach Heathrow terminals 1,2 & 3 in 25 minutes. Both are accessible via the Piccadilly line.
