Hi Beccy.

We were all very pleased with the caravan, it was clean and comfortable and because we needed a cot for the toddler we were able to put it down in place of a single bed so that we could be assured that he was safe.

The shop was well stocked up and all the kitchen appliances in good working order.

We were able to park 3 cars and no need to be on the grass, enabling us to enjoy the lawn for relaxaton.

The only reason why I am not giving 5* is that there was no toilet paper, but we found tissue boxes later in one of the cupboards, and also that I found the hill a bit steep.

The location was were good.

Thanks for letting us stay on the short notice you were given, I am so wery grateful. My family all suggested that we do it again.

Juleanna :-)

Clean & Very Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The site itself was very easy to find. A satnav helped but was not essential. The mobile home is in a very quiet, private part of the excellent Combe Haven site. Perfect for us, even with a baby in a pushchair, but perhaps not ideal - given a relatively short uphill walk to the main site complex - for the elderly/infirm. The home itself sleeps eight and the 'living' area was spacious, particularly for four and the baby. Clean and pretty well fully equipped - our only minor suggestion is that a shower mat could be provided or clients could be advised to bring one - the home provided everything we expected and required. The home's 'finish' is what it is. Newish, bright, well maintained and with clean 'lines', although not de luxe. The burglar alarm is very straightforward to use, as is the cooker and (gas) fire. [ NOTE FOR SITE/OWNER : the burglar alarm was set at 'OFF' when we arrived.] The staff at Reception were uniformly helpful and very welcoming/pleasant. There were no 'issues' with either the home or the site which required any report to or action by the staff, but we are sure they would have responded helpfully if necessary. (There is little to go wrong - and nothing did go wrong - with the home but useful contact numbers are provided by the owner.) Probably best to think about 'things to do on holiday' before arriving as there is no 'pack' provided BUT we're sure (again) that Reception would assist if asked. The site facilities are excellent, although on a short break we only used the swimming pool, the 'arcade' and the Spar shop on site. The latter is not 'cheap' but does not price exhorbitantly......and we found it well stocked for 'bits and pieces', as well as very convenient.

Clean, comfortable and modern accommodation

  • 5 of 5

The caravan accommodation was fantastic for our family of five. Extremely spacious with a second toilet, large tv with a sky box and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to cook a family meal.

We were welcomed with a large bowl of fresh fruit, facilities passes and beds made up for arrival. ☺

There was a small patio table but unfortunately no chairs to sit outside.

The park is on a huge hill and this accommodation is at the very bottom.

We all had a good weekend break and I will definitely book this accommodation again!

Fantastic family holiday

  • 5 of 5

The accommodation was modern and exceptionally clean. Very comfortable and perfect for an easy family holiday with young children. The park facilities were great, and although it was busy (summer holiday's), there was plenty of different activities so it never felt over-crowded. Over all, we thoroughly enjoyed our mini-break and would happily come back again. Thank you!
