Lovely stay in a sunny climate..🌞🌞

Very nice accommodations on the outskirts of Portimao and also a short drive to Alvor.

Isabel and Greg made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The apartment has everything you would need..right down to the beach umbrella, beach towels and sunscreens, maps, books etc. It is very tidy & clean and the bed was very comfortable. The gardens and outdoor areas were very inviting after a day exploring the area. The grocery store was just around the corner and (thanks to the owners) we discovered a couple of lovely restaurants within walking distance. Some really gorgeous hiking on the coast near Benigal. We would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable apartment

We have just returned from a week stay. The apartment was very well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable. Wonderful memory foam bed. Isabel and Greg were wonderful hosts. We would recommend to friends and family and hope to return next year.

Our apartment at villa do vale had everything to make our stay very comfortable and was situated within easy reach of all the amenities, beach,town,golf course and stunning clifftop and beach walks from vau beach to alvor, to praia da rocha and beyond ! supermarkets are close by and the local bus service is only two mins from property, also, Isobel & Greg were the perfect hosts, being very helpful and informative, well done ! from John & Barbara, mature couple, Newcastle upon tyne.

Charming apartment with beautiful garden and pool

We had the most amazing week in Western Algarve. Couldn't have asked for a better apartment. Clean, cosy,well equipped, had everything we needed with lots of information about local and surrounding areas.

Isabel and Greg were fantastic hosts and made our stay very special.

Apartment is in quiet residential area within walking distance to stunning Praia de Vau beach and buzzing Praia de Rocha with plenty of restaurants and bars...

Would definitely come back to this place and highly recommend.

great people - great place

My husband and I spent a month at Villa do Vale west apartment from Feb. 7-March 11. First of all Isabel and Greg were very friendly and accommodating. Many mornings we would find a bag of fruit or goodies hanging on our door. Greg is a music teacher so we enjoyed many piano/flute practices while we sat outside with coffee or wine.

Although it was winter the apartment was very comfortable with an electric heater and dehumidifier. When the sun was out, as most times, it was very comfortable to sit outside. The apartment was very well stocked with all needed appliances, washing machine, dish washer, microwave, tv, cd player.

We did not have a car. It was very accessible to Praia do Vau beach (10 min walk) and a convenience store along the way. A bus stop outside the estate entrance was easy to catch bus into town to shop, or a 20 min walk to Continente for groceries, a movie, or restaurant. A bus in the opposite direction was an easy ride to Alvor.

The property was very well kept up and our apartment was cleaned once a week as part of rent.

Highly recommend.

Très agréable

Charmant appartement, confortable, calme et très bien équipé. L'accueil est parfait et nos hôtes très chaleureux et attentifs à toutes nos demandes. Noter que l'appartement peut être frais hors saison. Bien que très bien situé et proche des plages et commerces, nous recommandons la voiture, ne serait-ce que pour visiter l'Algarve, ses plages et autres sites magnifiques.

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique et nous y reviendrons sans hésitation.

  • The property is in an estate of privately owned villas, no traffic, as it is in a cul-de-sac. Vau beach is just down the road from the estate. Guests have outdoor designated sunbathing areas, sun loungers and patios with outdoor furniture (table, chairs) - the salt water pool is available to guests (shared). Car not necessary - easy to walk to the beaches, the beautiful coastal cliffs, Praia da Rocha hub of shops, night life/Casino and down town Portimão. The area has numerous good restaurants. This is golf heaven and the apartments are great golf retreats (discount on golf). The gardens are attractive and appealing during the Spring and summer months.
