About the Owner

We both work in the environment sector. We've lived in Harberton for 10 years and really love the village and landscape of the South Hams and frequently enjoy walking the coast path and kayaking the amazing rivers and estuaries. Its so convenient being 5 minutes from Totnes with its lovely market and shops.

Lovely cottage in beautiful South Devon

  • 5 of 5

We (family of 5, from Germany) really enjoyed our stay at the cottage in the picturesque village of Harberton - ideally located to explore the beautiful, nearly unspoiled coast of the South Hams as well as Dartmoor National Park. The cottage is very well equipped, there are a lot of books, especially for lovers of nature, hiking, or cooking. In the cosy atmosphere of the house and the nice, tiny garden, the children loved to stay for hours reading, playing, drawing... Easy contacts to the very friendly neighbours (mostly residents) added to the impression of feeling at home and not wanting to leave at the end of our holidays!

Lovely cottage very comfortable in a peaceful village

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in Harberton, the cottage was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed and lots of good books to read. The owner had left plenty of local information and was very prompt in answering any queries we had. Most evenings we ate in but had lovely pizzas cooked in the woodoven at The Church Inn local pub on Sunday evening. Enjoyed exploring the south hams and some lovely coastal places as recommended by the owner.

Great location and lovely village

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is in a very quiet village with very pleasant neighbours

Best suited as a base to explore the surrounding area and possibly for an older couple who enjoy walks . As the advert says this is a family home but not really suitable for very young children . very good base for exploring .

Rundum gelungener Urlaub

  • 5 of 5

From the Owner

We live right in the heart of the village which is very friendly. Its a south facing garden so perfect for sitting out on sunny days, with a shaded terrace under the cherry tree.
