Amazing, spacious property

  • 5 of 5

We arrived to fresh scones with jam & cream!!! Tracy had also left milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar and butter; everything we needed to get us started. The kids were impressed with the whole property which is the best recommendation you could ask for. There was plenty of room to prepare food, eat and watch TV. The kids tended to take the downstairs living room with the Wii whilst the adults retired to the upstairs living room with views to the sea. I would definitely recommend this property for location and facilities and that personal touch. My only reservation is fitness as the house is on quite a steep incline which my parents in their 70s struggled abit with. All in all, fantastic!!!!

Fantastic house with an amazing view

  • 5 of 5

We all really enjoyed our stay in Fairview, the house was perfect for our large family group. The view from the balcony was amazing, great for haiving your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine to watch the evening sun go down. The house worked really well for us being split level, giving us plenty of room to spread out and be able to do our own thing.

Braunton is about 10 min walk away, I'd recommend Squires for fish and chips and the riverside restaurant for brekfast and for dinner. The Traka trail is very close by for some scenic cycle rides. Croyde great for body boarding or surfing and Instow to grab an icecream form the Hockings van.

All in all we had a fab time and hope to come back soon

The property was very large, spacious, and very well equipped holiday home for a large family.

  • 5 of 5

We are just travelling back home after a lovely stay at Fairview in Braunton. He house is situated about 5-10mins stroll into the town where there are some bars pubs shops and a cooperative mini market. We enjoyed good food at the Agricultural Inn, Squires fish and chips and the local Chinese take away.

The house is split over two levels which worked really well with us having three families staying together. The lounges and dining areas were large and comfortable and easily seated 10 people.

The kitchen had more than enough crockery and utensils. We couldn't have asked for more. We have stayed in large holiday homes previously where we often run out of crockery as it's all in the dishwasher so it was really good to have such a generous amount of kitchenware.

There are two large bathrooms, an ensuite and an extra shower room too. Two bedrooms also has hidden sinks inside the large wardrobes which was handy.

The outside of the property had a great flat enclosed lawn where the children enjoyed playing. Inside the garage were some deckchairs for use. There's a large wooden dining table and benches for eating at. The large gas BBQ was ready for use and is kept under a cover to the rear of the house.

The drive is long and steep but there is ample parking for three cars at the top (which is flat). In total you would be able to park approx 6 cars if you used the driveway.

We loved the beach in Croyde where we went and body boarded most days.

In Croyde try Billy Budds pub for a drink. There's a good play area for children at the rear. And there are ice cream shops just around the corner.

We also walked to baggy point on a cloudy day which we managed with four children aged 7,6,3 and 3. We also visited Saunton sands (less waves).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairview, we would definitely recommend to other large groups.

What a fantastic house with all facilities needed for a group of 9 to enjoy New Year

  • 5 of 5

What a comfortable, spacious, warm home that contained all we needed to cook in when required. Easy 5min walk down (10)back to Braunton with an award winning fish/chip shop and pub's meant no need to move car. Fab views from balcony especially fireworks on New Year Eve. Beautiful clean house and the lovely Hamper was much appreciated. Good luck Tracey hope to be back soon. Mary

Excellent property

  • 5 of 5

From entering this house you immediately know it's going to be lovely, superbly clean and fresh smelling, spacious airy and extremely well equipped to a very high standard. We have been to many holiday properties this is by far one of the best. Tracy has thought of everything and provided so many things that makes your holiday comfortable. Many properties can have shabby or well worn areas, every room in Fair View was comfortable even providing good quality coat hangers in every wardrobe (very rare). The Entertainment provided with the TV, wifi, games Etc etc would help a wet day and of course the view from the balcony was stunning. The kitchen facilities were excellent you can not fault the house in any way. We wish Tracy continued success with Fair View and hope future clients will realise the effort that has gone into this house to provide a clean and well maintained environment and enjoy their stay as much as we did.
