the bedroom is open plan with kitchen/dining/living area and has a superking bed which can be divided into 2 singles with zip link. there is a balcony with views of rural shropshire and the long mynd. Below accessed via external steps is a utility room with washer and dryer where you can store bikes. There is also a larger shower and toilet with lockable door.
The property is usually very peaceful and quiet, occasionally children may play in the field below.
Please be aware that the bed platform has a 305mm step up and may not be suitable for people with disabilities

there are 2 cats who are very exceited to meet new guests and will do all they can to schmooze you (we can keep them in our house of a pain!!)we also have a larger property ryton grange for 12 people

I had a lovely stay at The Garden Room. I needed somewhere to stay while visiting family and friends in the area. It was nice and warm (February), very clean, well equipped and I really liked the décor. Nice collection of books too. It is also nice and quiet, I slept very well!
The owners Emma and Richard, their children and pets are very friendly, especially Dora the cat. Since I am a cat person, I enjoyed Dora’s visits and I welcomed her in a couple of times, she was happy to settle down and nap if I was there in the evening. The family do not intrude; but they are happy to help if need be. It being February, I didn’t take advantage of sitting out on the deck and taking in the lovely views of the Shropshire countryside. I’m sure it is lovely during warmer months and ideal for a couple’s getaway. It was nice to have the laundry facilities and extra bathroom downstairs, though I managed perfectly well with the bath/shower unit upstairs. The Garden Room is a good location to visit all that Shropshire has to offer and easy travelling distance to Wales. It is within walking distance of the village of Dorrington, the Horsehoes pub/restaurant and local shop is handy for essentials. I would highly recommend The Garden Room and I hope to stay there again.
Stayed here in the garden room in February for a week, the weather was quite cold but we always felt warm and cosy in the property after a day out, It is nice and central to nearby towns and attractions

Amazing walks in the area perfect for dogs. The cottage was just perfect with everything you could of wished for. Was left to do our own thing by the neighbours yet felt comfortable enough to ask for anything if we needed to. Thank you for an amazing little getaway!
This property is perfect for a couple.It's very clean,well equipped and comfortable and feels very spacious even though the kitchen,dining,living and sleeping area are essentially all one room separated by a door to an ensuite bathroom.The bathroom is also a good size with a bath/shower,toilet and sinkThe living area opens onto a small balcony with a table and chairs which is perfect for outdoor dining weather permitting.Beneath the property is a laundry room-washing machine/tumble dryer and another shower.There's ample parking space alongside the property which is nextdoor to the owner's property therefore gaining access was straightforward.The owners are very helpful and welcomimg and there was a jug of milk and biscuits already at the property when we arrived which is a lovely gesture.We thorougly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the property to friends and family.
