Comfortable one bed room , plus bed sofa . 50 mt from beach and main Promenade. WiFi connection and UK free channels. Communal pool and large outdoor patio. All the amenities are right in front of the property. Air condition is also available in case temperature will rise. Perfect for two people. A third guest can be comfortably accommodated in the bed sofa located in the living room. Old town is at 1,5 km away .

Lovely apartment in a good location. Like a home from home

Given the location is just to the rear of bars and shops I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Yes there was a little construction work going on at the front but it wasn't too early in the morning and it wasn't none stop so not really a problem. The apartment is very nice, with good facilities, including a full size fridge freezer, oven and hob and washing machine. The terrace was mainly in the shade but had some sunny spots so you can choose to be in or out of the sun, also it is at the poolside so you can sit in the sun near the pool and still be close enough to pop back into the apartment for drinks etc. Self check-in instructions were very clear with good directions to the apartment. Other reviews mentioned that you have nobody coming in to change the towels and clean but for us that was really not a problem. I prefer not to be disturbed and liked not having to worry that I might be in bed or in the bathroom when the maid comes. There are bins along the main road not far from the apartment so taking out the rubbish was also not a problem.

This is not a criticism but because Francesco asked if any improvements could be made I would say perhaps give a little more local info either with the check-in instructions or in the apartment, such as where to take rubbish, where to get a taxi etc. These would be particularly helpful for people who have not visited the island before. Also it would be handy to know who to contact on the complex if there are any problems.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who likes a quiet holiday but also likes to be not far from bars, shops and the beach. Ideal for people who want to feel like they are staying in a home. Not for people who want everything doing for them.

Very noisy

We love the place and had stayed there before, but this time there was construction work going on for our whole visit, and for several weeks before by all accounts.It totally spoiled sitting by the pool as the noise was extreme as was the dust.The floor round the pool was vibrating at times as they were working underneath our complex.Good job I had my asthma inhalers with me as I needed them because of all the dust in the air.Pity we could not have been made aware.

Owner's Response: Dear Lisa , Unfortunatelly we were not aware about this refurbishment work as they were not in LOS ARCOS APARTMENTS complex but at the underneath warehouse building next to the pharmacy and where the other shops are . This property is a completelly different administration and ownership. They were not obliged to inform any of the neighbour about this. However, works have been done according to the local regulation only during specific hours of the day to reduce at the minimum bother and people rest.

Ideally situated with beautiful sea views

We arrived around midday and were delighted to find that we were in apt B4 which is a first floor apt and so we had a fantastic view of the ocean and sun on the terrace for most of the day! The apt itself has a basic white decor and was very clean and so we have no complaints. There is a washing machine provided which meant that we could wash towels and swim wear which was a welcome facility.

The complex was lovely and quiet despite being set just behind the main avenue on which you could choose from a full range of shops, restaurants and bars. We didn't have any problems with getting sun beds around the pool area but then again I don't think there was full occupancy during the week we visited and so could perhaps be a problem when at full occupation. It was so restful around the pool area, the only noise was the sea. Our intention for this holiday was to rest since we both have demanding jobs and this complex allowed for us to achieve that, whilst still giving us the choice to have cocktails a 2 min walk away. Our favourite cocktail bar was La Delicatezza just around the corner! Our favourite restaurant was Lani's which we visited twice during our stay, it is more expensive but the food was first class and the beachfront venue ideal for celebrating our wedding anniversary! Again it was only a 2 min walk from the apt! Taking the rubbish was not an issue for us really as we took it with us most evenings as we were going out for dinner anyway and so it never built up to being a major hassle and so would recommend others do the same.

We would undoubtedly recommend this property and would happily holiday there again! Thanks Francesco!

Arrived at apartment in the evening , everything was perfect . Supermarket couple of streets over. Bars on door step with lovely beech across the road .once round pool all you could hear was the sea . Great location ! Our return flight wasn't till 8 in evening but owners where so great and let us check out bit later. 10min taxi ride from airport which about €16 and plenty of taxis outside to get you back to airport. Thanks for great stay will highly recommend x

Ground floor 3b apartment

Lovely apartment, great location, spotlessly clean and modern, only downside is not enough sunbeds for the complex, especially when other people peg their towels on them and that's how they stayed for the whole duration of our stay otherwise I would have given the review 5 stars. It would be better if each apartment had their own numbered sunbeds which would resolve this issue

This is a very fair and unbiased review. from our 2 weeks stay 5 - 19 Aug 2017

The appartment is in a great location right on the front, the main gate is secure has a code lock and is up some steps (18), the pool is not very large but is OK and never seemed busy, the sun terrase has a limited number of sun beds, enough if not for the usual SELFISH few who put towels on them early morning and then decide to use them around lunch time, some even drag them to their appartments and just leave them there, this also applies to the 2 parasols, (we and some other appartments had their own parasols), There should be STRICT rules posted around the pool to stop this kind of selfish behavior.

Overall I would mark the appartment 7 out of 10, however with some of the income reinvested on the furniture etc. it could easily achieve a 10/10 status, something the owners should strongly consider.

Would I return, most likely. If my comments were acted on then I would definitly return.
