About Debbie Clarke

Hi! My name is Debbie and I grew up in the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, just 10 miles away. I still work at the secondary school there 4 days a week. My husband is also a local lad and had (now retired) a long-established retail business in the local market town of Shipston-on-Stour. We also love dogs, having four of our own, and have made Robbies Barn dog friendly, so feel free to bring your well behaved furry friends along too!

Debbie Clarke purchased this cottage in 2010

Why Debbie Clarke chose Stratford-Upon-Avon area

I've lived in the area since I was a small child and love it. My husband and I moved to our current address in 2009 and converted a redundant farm building across the yard from our house into our ideal holiday cottage, the sort of place we'd be happy to stay in. We'd like to share our new home with others and invite you to come and enjoy the holiday cottage we've created.

What makes this cottage unique

Robbies Barn offers peace and tranquillity in a quiet rural setting.

Notes:
A Complimentary Hamper This sounds a little grand but as an enthusiastic home baker, I hope to be able to provide guests with at least something to savour with their first cup of tea! On arrival there is tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen and a drop of milk in the fridge. There should also be a bottle of locally produced apple juice from the 'Leaping Sheep Co.', although he does keep threatening to retire! Then, with a bit of luck, and providing the hens haven't gone on strike, some free range eggs for guests to enjoy from our own hens! Home grown produce available for purchase in season.

Cosy comfortable and everything you want

  • 5 of 5

We were welcomed by Debbie and felt at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this "Barn " to anyone. It was convenient for a lot of sightseeing. And with lots of places to take the dogs where they could be let ioff there leads. Dog and human friendly.

A delightful beautifully furnished converted barn, fully equipped home for a peaceful weekend.

A wonderful place in the countryside to just chill. Footpaths within a few hundred yards that I enjoyed strolling over the cotswold fields with my dog. Ideal spot for friends or family to relax. Owners were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the tasty biscuits left for me.

Lovely barn in a beautiful part of the country

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Robbies Barn. We're a family of 4 so it suited us perfectly. Very well equipped property, beautifully converted. Cosy yet modern. Lots of space. The home-baked goods were yummy and much appreciated. Fresh eggs a real treat. We enjoyed saying hello to the lambs each morning. Day trips to Stratford were easy, we very much enjoyed the Mad Museum and Butterfly Farm. Also spent a day at Ragley Hall where our boys enjoyed kayaking on the lake. A great base for exploring, we could have easily stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.
