About the Owner

Hi! My name is Debbie and I grew up in the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, just 10 miles away. I still work at the secondary school there 4 days a week. My husband is also a local lad and has a long-established retail business in the local market town of Shipston-on-Stour.

From the Owner

I've lived in the area since I was a small child and love it. My husband and I moved to our current address in 2009 and converted a redundant farm building across the yard from our house into our ideal holiday cottage, the sort of place we'd be happy to stay in. We'd like to share our new home with others and invite you to come and enjoy the holiday cottage we've created.

The village of Fulready is surrounded by a network of footpaths and bridle ways to explore, with at least two pubs within a two mile walk.

The village consists of a cluster of beautiful stone and brick properties among them Paddock Farm famous for it's Tamworth sausages and bacon available to but at the local garage shop in Halford and from their own butcher's shop in nearby Brailes village. We have our own free range eggs, some of which will await you on arrival!

Fulready is only 8 miles from Shakespeare's Stratford and all it offers, including three theatres, The Shakespeare Properties and trips on the River Avon. Also to be found in Stratford-Upon-Avon are over 35 excellent Bars, Bistros, and Restaurants.

  • A Complimentary Hamper This sounds a little grand but as an enthusiastic home baker, I hope to be able to provide guests with at least something to savour with their first cup of tea! On arrival there is tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen and a drop of milk in the fridge. There should also be a bottle of locally produced apple juice from the 'Leaping Sheep Co.', although he does keep threatening to retire! Then, with a bit of luck, and providing the hens haven't gone on strike, some free range eggs for guests to enjoy from our own hens! Home grown produce available for purchase in season.
