Superb villa

Wonderful views and setting.Lovely accommodation and a restful place to stay. Plenty to do and Irene was very welcoming and helpful. We would all like to come back again

An outstanding property perched on the hillside , excellent facilities, helpful owner

The house is on the hillside with views across the Sintra valley, a lovely outdoor sitting area , three bedrooms two bathrooms a large lounge, dinning room and full kitchen, as the property is difficult to find. Irene (the owner) meet us at the filling station as directed us to the house, Irene was very helpful during our stay, gave us maps, places to visit, we had housekeeping twice during our six days and she brought fruit and cake. the property is very close to the Pena Palace and can be reached by a 10 minute walk through the woods, , it is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Sintra and steep climbs involved so not to good if your not fit!!! there are plenty of bus's and tuk tuk to get you around . a good selection of local eating places, can't really fault it ,we enjoyed our stay

Warm hospitality in a beautiful setting

We loved our stay in this beautiful home on a hilltop in Sintra. Our host was so warm, welcoming and helpful. The home is beautiful - bright, clean and comfortable, with dramatic architecture and stunning views of the countryside. Our host showed us a shortcut to hiking trails to the Pena Palace and the castle, which we highly recommend! The only challenge we had was that we were unable to find grocery stores in the neighborhood, so we were unable to make any meals at home. Come stocked with groceries and you'll be all set!
