Beautiful spacious apartment in a small village, peaceful and quiet, with walks to stunning coastal views and short distance to pretty beachside town of Sao Martinho. Apartment at ground level, totally independent, set in an acre of grounds in the exclusive village of Serra dos Mangues. The apartment is set in its own garden with private and secluded parking and rural views. As well as the tranquility, peace and quiet of rural countryside, the apartment is only 3 km from the pretty beach town of Sao Martinho do Porto. The apartment features a beautiful timbered roof and modern kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, fridge freezer. The open plan living room has a dining table, chairs, sofa, armchairs, double bed +sofa bed, office area. If heating is required its heated by a pellet-burning wood stove: very easy-to-run and efficient (maximum €2 to run all day). The shower wet room is attractive with Moroccan glass wall divider. Wifi at no extra cost. Owners cottage is 50 metres away. Private off road parking, rural charm and yet modern conveniences. Will accept well behaved clean pets by arrangement.
Autumn/winter/spring monthly lets available for reduced rental.
You can stay over-winter for a very affordable price - we prefer to have the apartment occupied than empty. Rates depend on length of stay - contact us with your required dates.

Great location,Great apartment, Great people!

We stayed at this property for three weeks and all we can say is that it was a great experience! Samantha and Kit were very welcoming and extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment had everything we needed and more. the area outside the property was beautiful and secluded equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs etc. What we most liked was the fact that you were living in a secluded location, but was literally a 5 minute drive to the Beaches,local supermarket and the A8 motorway which made getting to see the sights easy peasy! If you're seeking the quietness of the beautiful Portuguese Countryside but also want to be near Beaches and the sights, then you couldn't pick a more ideal location!

Excellent! What a find!

Just home from a wonderful stay at Samantha and Kit's studio. It was idyllic - peaceful, restful and just a short trip from town, beach and supermarket. The studio is beautifully decorated with some wonderful works of art and is very comfortable and homely. It is well equipped for cooking and there is a lovely relaxing area to the front with sun loungers, table and chairs. We did some great sightseeing in the area as many places are just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend as away from it all, relaxing holiday. Looking forward to returning soon!

Nice little studio, walking distance to the sea.

Quiet and secluded location, lovely in the sunshine with lots of birdlife in the pretty garden. Lots of nice art on the walls. Incredible beaches in walking distance. A convenient drive away from the arty and interesting Caldas Da Rainha, and the huge waves at Nazare.

Leider enttäuscht.

Wir waren 10 Tage im Hause Oasis, haben uns aufgrund der guten Bewertungen dafür entschieden. Leider war es enttäuschend. Ist vielleicht nur im Hochsommer empfehlenswert . -Bei der Heimadresse wäre es hilfreich gewesen uns mitzuteilen, dass man die " Strasse " runterfahren muss. -im Hause herrschte eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, alles war feucht , da half der kleine Luftentfeuchter nicht wirklich. -Geschirr/Besteck war verschimmelt vermutlich wurde dies vom Vorgänger nicht richtig abgetrocknet und in die Schubladen gestellt. -Für 10 Tage hatten wir je ein Duschtuch und ein Handtuch, welche nach 2 Tagen schon gestunken haben, da diese aufgrund der Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht trocken wurden. Da das Wetter in sao Martinho neblig und feucht war konnten die Handtücher auch draussen nicht trocknen. -keine Wechsel Bettwäsche & Handtücher vorhanden. -Im Hause war es bitter kalt.Abends fielen die Temperaturen auf 15 C im Hause waren es gefühlte 10 C. Die Heizungsanlage konnte nicht angemacht werden ( diese ist nur von Nov.-Mai verfügbar).

Nice, beautiful, confortable and lovely place with gorgeous hosts (nice, helpful, charming, generous, funny, and a long etcetera that will not fit in this tiny box). Peaceful location, nearby interesting places to visit. Highly recommended

Portugal with its great light, beaches, tradition and charm enticed us to buy a second property here almost 12 years ago. Whether it's the Portuguese unhurried charm, the fantastic hospitality, great food or temperate climate we love it here and have made our home in Portugal. The studio apartment and the cottage, set in tranquil and pretty gardens sits in an acre of countryside and exudes Portuguese rustic charm. Noisy neighbours and street noise doesn't exist here. Enjoy our small retreats place.
