Charming Welsh Stone Cottage In Rural Location, With Home Cinema.

Overview

Property

Updated: 30-Nov-2016
Sleeps 3 in Two Bedrooms With Garden, Woodburner Stove & Home Cinema.

Rhoslwyn is a charming Welsh Stone Cottage situated just outside the small village of Blwchllan. With views over the garden and surrounding farmland and to the Cambrian Mountains in the distance, a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Rhoslwyn sleeps 3 in two bedrooms, one double & one single. There is a good sized kitchen with a range cooker. The 'Cwtch' is a snug room with leather 3 seat sofa & chair and there is a wood burner also for those chilly winter evenings.

The kitchen leads out to the conservatory where you can enjoy views out to the garden and the Cambrian Mountains in the distance. Then out to the separate Home Cinema with surround sound where you can enjoy a movie or two from our DVD library and enjoy a bowl of popcorn from the popcorn maker!

The garden surrounds the rear of the cottage with a storage shed for bikes, and to the front is gravel with off road parking.

About the Owner

We moved to Mid Wales in 2008 and fell in love with the area. We have a small holding with a few chickens, ducks, geese and pigs keeping us company. We love exploring the local area and happy to pass on our knowledge of the surrounding area!

Guestbook comments from the owner

"The cottage was beautiful we didn't want to the leave at the end of our weeks holiday. Andrew was so helpful and friendly, he recommended walks, beaches and places for us to visit and the information guide he had put together about the surrounding area was wonderful.

The cottage was very well equipped and perfectly set out and the peace and quiet due to the rural location was amazing, however shops in Lampeter only about 20-25 mins away meant we never felt too isolated. We are already planning to come back next year we loved it so much."

Location

From the Owner

Rhoslwyn is a lovely cottage, hiding a lot more than it looks from the front. We love its character, from the original character features such as wood paneling between rooms, bread oven and stone walls, but still feels spacious with high ceilings, good sized kitchen and conservatory and garden with lovely views out to either the garden, farm fields and the Cambrian Mountains in the far distance.
