Villa Babila is a charming two-story villa set into the cliff, sheer above the sea and with direct access to the sea. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Babila you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Villa Babila is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, direct access to the sea, a wide private terrace with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from Praiano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest restaurant at 1 km (roughly 1100 yards), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach (Marina di Praia Beach) at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles). You will reach Villa Babila from the parking area going down a stairway which consists of approximately 30 steps.
For a successful stay at Villa Babila we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for up to two small cars (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller). If necessary, you can park larger cars for a fee in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved) or in a public parking lot (where a space can not be reserved).

Direct Access to the Sea
From the property you will have a direct access to the sea through a platform built on the rocks. You will reach it from the villa going down a 20-meters (65-feet) walkway that is cut into the rocky cliff and includes approximately 135 stairway steps. The area is equipped with sun loungers and an external shower. The access to the sea is shared with guests staying at another nearby villa.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 3.5 meters (11 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long. The area is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea. You will share the pool with guests staying at another nearby villa. The swimming pool is open from mid-March until the end of October.
Garden
The garden is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. In the garden you will find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea. The garden is occasionally crossed by the owners in order to reach their accommodations.
Bottom FloorTerrace
The terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with tables, chairs, deck chairs and an hammock. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view overlooking a stretch of coast characterized by an ancient Saracen tower and of the sea. The terrace is occasionally crossed by the owners in order to reach their accommodations.
Fitness Room
At Villa Babila you will find a fitness room equipped with two exercise bikes, a treadmill and a fitness bench. You will be able to enter the fitness room from the living room and from the kitchen. From the fitness room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea through a French door.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with bright sea green tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include sofas and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea through a French door. The room has two windows with a view of the sea. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the terrace with a view of the sea.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
Top FloorLiving Room 2
The second living room is paved with handmade majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable, and include some hand-made pieces by local artisans. The furnishings include sofas and armchairs. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels) and a CD player with FM radio. From the living room you will be able to enter a small patio with a view of the sea through a French door. The room has two large panoramic windows with a view of the sea and of the coastline.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a balcony with a view of the sea through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower, a jacuzzi bathtub and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a balcony with a view of the sea through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a balcony with a view of the sea through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
