Only 10 minutes from Murcia Airport, this corner ground floor apartment is ideally situated in front of landscaped gardens and one of the 2 pools on the gated complex of El Divino in the seaside town of Los Alcázares. Beautifully furnished and well equipped with internet, English TV (BBC 1,2,3,4, ITV 1,2,3,4, C4, C5, Film4 & many more), Spanish TV, air conditioning, washing machine, iron & ironing board,dishwasher. This is a perfect holiday home. The apartment has a spacious living room, open plan kitchen, 2 double bedrooms,1 with a double bed and the other with twin beds, and both bathroom and shower room. (There is also a chaise longue which converts to a sofa bed in the living room.) French windows lead from the living room opening onto a wonderful poolside private garden. There is also a small garden at the rear, of the house, again with patio furniture, this making it possible to enjoy the sun or shade at any time of the day. Not only is the apartment perfect – so is the location! The Divino complex is situated close to the 525 plaza with its wide selection of tapas bars, restaurants,shops, and Mercadona supermarket, and less than 10 minutes' walk to the award winning beaches of Los Alcázares on the Mar Menor and to its beautiful marine promenade. The old town of Los Alcazares is only a 20 minute walk, or short taxi ride away.

Towels (including pool towels) provided.

There are 2 superb golf courses less than 5 minutes drive from the apartment, Roda, & La Serena. (For club rental I use www.murciagolfclubhire.com. They will deliver & collect the clubs to/from the apartment or course).

Please note in high season preferred changeover day is Saturday. Otherwise there is flexibility.

Fantastic apartment. A real home from home.

This is a lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need. Two beautiful terraces, with one overlooking the pool and well maintained gardens. A 10 minute walk takes you down to the square where there is a great supermarket and many shops and lovely restaurants. We have stayed in El Divino before but this apartment is by far the best so far. Many thanks to Hazel for all her help too and organising our transfers. We will definitely be returning.

Superb, will definitely be back!!!

What a superb apartment both in terms of facilities and location (5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, 10 to the beach). Spotlessly clean, nice and comfortably furnished it was almost 'home from home' in respect of all those little extras that were provided like cool bags, shopping trolley, every conceivable kitchen gadget, first aid kit etc. etc. . . the list goes on! It was great to have a full sized fridge freezer and a washing machine which was ideal as we had travelled 'light' to avoid additional baggage costs!! TV reception was excellent for all english channels and my husband was delighted that there was free wifi. The back patio overlooking the beautiful pool and garden area was a delight, comfortable patio furniture and sunloungers, to top this there is also a small patio at the front of the apartment. There is really nothing we could fault! We slept like logs ( the complex was very quiet and the beds so comfortable!) and I particularly appreciated the choice of airconditioning or ceiling fans. Terry the owner was very prompt in getting back to us in response to a couple of queries we had and Hazel, the agent, was especially helpful, even bringing a selection of novels for me to read on her day off!! To those of you (like me!!) who are suspicious of paying an upfront deposit I can assure you that ours was repaid within two days of our return home. We would definitely recommend and will be back! Only one suggestion, very minor, would be the provision of an umbrella for the occasional rain shower!

Lovely apartment, excellent location

This was our third visit to Los Alcazares and this apartment was the best we have stayed at. It was well positioned overlooking the pool, but was still private because of the foliage and the canopy. We even sat out in the rain! It had everything we needed, was very well equipped with excellent TV and WiFi reception and was also spotlessly clean. Booking was very easy, with prompt responses to our queries from Hazel. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay. PS the only suggestion we would make is that a shopping trolley would be handy to carry water, beer and wine back from the supermarket! :)

We wanted somewhere that was close to the airport so that a car was not necessary, within walking distance of a decent supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, & the sea. We stayed in Los Alcazares in June 2014 & realised that it had all of the above plus an old town with traditional spanish bars & restaurants. The Divino complex with it's 2 pools & extensive garden areas ideal for sunbathing & relaxation, is arguably the best in the area, so when this corner property, which has the benefit of natural light in all rooms, came up for sale we immediately made an offer.

Los Alcázares has a wonderful 7 km waterfront promenade with many tapas bars along the route and wonderful views over the Mar Menor. You can also enjoy sailing and canoeing activities or a relaxing boat trip on the regular ferries to La Manga strip. Or why not join the locals in the mud baths in nearby San Pedro del Pinatar to get rid of your aches and pains? The Mar Menor is renown for its curative properties due to the high mineral content and salinity of its waters and, as well as its health giving powers, it is also very safe for children.

The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. There is a €60 charge for cleaning payable in cash on arrival.
Towels, including pool towels, are provided.
There are 4 sun loungers (2 beds & 2 reclining chairs) for use around the pool.
2 beach chairs are also provided which can be used on the terraces, around the pool, or taken to the beach.

£100 deposit secures the reservation & acts as the security deposit. The full amount is payable 6 weeks before the booking, or in cash on arrival. The deposit will be returned by bank transfer assuming all is well.

Divino has 2 gorgeous pools which are ideal for both adults and children, with gentle sloping access. This apartment has direct access and views to the pool and enjoys gardens both front and back. We already knew we wanted to be near amenities so the Divino complex was ideal with a lot of bars and restaurants and the beach just a stroll away. We have installed UKTV with all the main freeview channels (over 50 English speaking & some radio channels). There is also a freeview box with Spanish TV. The WIFI is specifically for our apartment & you can connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable (provided) should you wish to.
