Very convenient

  • 4 of 5

All is as advertised...about 10-minute, easy walk to the cathedral area (several pubs and restaurants on the way), 2-minute walk to Telfords Warehouse restaurant. Parking, if not available on the street in front of the house, is a reserved spot a short walk away. Overall, a quite comfortable place to stay. Hayley always answered my calls, and lives locally if there are any problems. The only thing keeping me from a 5-star rating was the seating in the lounge, which was not very comfortable...too low to the floor and too shallow a seat for my height.

Clean,Comfortable and Central

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed a lovely 5 days in this centrally located property. It was well equipped and a nice touch with a welcome pack. Hayley the owner keeps in touch and makes herself available without being intrusive.

Essentially, there is a Parking permit for a car, whilst not outside the property is only a minute or so walk to it.

Great little cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Pixie cottage for a weekend at the races in Chester. It is very central for easy access to the city centre shops etc and a short stroll to the racecourse. It is a lovely little cottage down a side street, with convenience shops on the corner just two minutes walk away. Hayley the owner had left biscuits and milk in the fridge, which was so thoughtful, especially as our train was cancelled and so we did not get in till late on the Friday. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay.

Well kept cottage

  • 4 of 5

Pixie Cottage is a very well kept, clean and well equipped cottage in very easy walking distance of central Chester. The cottage maximises the space available and can adequately accommodate four adults. If I had any niggles they would be a lack of dressing table space for ladies to 'get ready' (although it would be difficult to find space without changing a bedroom) and the lounge sofa/armchairs are not comfortable enough for longer evenings in front of the television - but with so much to do in Chester this is a minor niggle.

Location

From the Owner

This property to me is ideally located, within strolling distance of the historic city of Chester. It always surprises me of all the different walking routes you can take from the property to visit the canal network, River Dee footpath, racecourse and historic walls.
