Brand new for the 2014 season, Hunters Lodge is a beautifully furnished ground floor apartment, with stunning loch-facing views.

The property sleeps up to four people in one double en-suite bedroom and one twin bedroom, with a main bathroom including bath and shower.

The newly fitted modern kitchen makes self-catering easy, with appliances including oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with icebox. All the extras are provided, including microwave, kettle, and a range of kitchen utensils.

Stylish decoration with a subtle Scottish twist gives this property a fantastic feel to it, and the open plan living area boasts large patio doors, leading out to a simply jaw dropping view of the Loch Lochy and mountains beyond.

Comfy sofas and a flat screen TV with freeview are provided for those cosy nights in, and the loch-side can be accessed easily with use of a private path, a short 5 minute walk from your front door. Private parking is located outside the property.

High quality unit that is ideal base location for touring Scottish Highlands

The unit itself is very nice, with modern kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas. Kitchen was large with good accessories and easy to cook in. Bedrooms were very comfortable, easily sleeping 4 people. Bathrooms were good sized with high quality shower and fixtures. Overall the unit was very, very nice and clean. Views out the rear slider are beautiful, looking out over a loch that is part of the Caledonian canal. There may be a path down to the water, but we did not see it. Would have given 5 stars except for two things. The first is no Wi-Fi. This is clearly stated, but somehow I missed it. Just think that units such as this should have Wi-Fi. Second is that it is a bit out of the way. Closest services are in Fort WIlliams about 20 minutes away. This could of course be considered a plus by many. We used the location as a base camp to see Glencoe Valley, Hike Ben Nevis, and see the Highlands. If we go back to this area, we would certainly consider staying at his location again.

An outstanding property in a beautiful, scenic lakefront location.

We are experienced international travelers and users of Home Away. This was one the best properties in which we have stayed. The lakeside location was perfect for os to relax. The furnishings, attention to detail, high level of maintenance and attentiveness of management was outstanding. We recommend this property without reservation.

Visitors to the Highlands would be hard pushed to find a property in a better setting than Hunters Lodge. The views across Loch Lochy and beyond are truly jaw dropping, and the location is ideal for exploring the Highlands and Islands. The property is also in immaculate condition, having only been recently introduced to the letting market in 2014.

Letterfinlay Lodge approx 1 mile away, with bar and restaurant.

Nearest local convenience store in Spean Bridge, around 5 minutes drive.
