Welcome to Oakfield Street, an impeccably decorated and characterful Chelsea vacation rental, with bright décor and an outdoor patio. This mews style house is perfect for individuals or couples seeking a stylish base from which to explore all London has to offer.

Living & Eating

This unique little home has an open-plan living and dining space. The charming living room is beautifully decorated with gold gilded mirrors and accents of red, and is connected to the kitchen by an open archway. The kitchen is contemporary and well equipped – including a small table to seat two. From the kitchen there is a door to the paved garden, a lovely outdoor space with a table to seat two.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

In keeping with the rest of the property the master bedroom is stylishly decorated, with feature wallpaper, and a welcoming double bed (4.5ft wide) and ample storage space. The bathroom is complete with a bath and overhead shower, washbasin and WC.

This is a small mews style house arranged on two main levels.

Situated in the heart of Chelsea, you are a short walk (all under 15 minutes) from Earl’s Court, South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations, and very well served by bus routes, which provides quick access to the rest of the city.

Set just off the Hollywood Road and the Fulham Road and moments from the King's Road, this unique location means that you are just a short walk away from a wealth of fabulous boutiques, high-street shops, fantastic restaurants and bars and characterful pubs. If you are a lover of the arts, Sloane Square with The Saatchi Gallery, and South Kensington with a host of museums including the Victoria & Albert museum are both a pleasant walk away. There are plenty of supermarkets and artisan food shops nearby and also several cinemas.

Charming property in a terrific location

We really enjoyed our stay, and found the flat to be quite well-equipped for our needs. There were three of us – me, my husband, and our 25-year-old daughter, so the space was perfect, with two bedrooms and two baths. The balcony and access to the private garden were lovely additions. There is road noise from traffic as it is a corner location at a busy intersection.

Alice was extremely helpful and patient as I was sorting through the various options before and during booking. Beth came to the rescue when we couldn’t figure out the heating system and were freezing our toes off!

The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated, and the instruction books were quite useful, as things operate differently from home.

The location is quite close to two tube stops, and there are a few restaurants, a market and a lovely cheese shop within about five minutes' walk. The new Westfield Mall is an easy walk in the opposite direction, with many restaurants, shops and movies.

We had a lovely trip, and will be back next opportunity.
