Set in the heart of the peaceful Creuse countryside, this beautiful and sympathetically converted barn is in a modern yet traditional style set in a small, idyllic hamlet with sunny garden and patio area for relaxing and barbecues. Sleeping 6 people, this comfortable gite offers luxury with a modern wet room and well equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge offers French TV, wifi and comfortable leather sofas. Bedrooms: 1 Master double bedroom, which runs from front to back of the house, there are Velux windows and wonderful views. 2 single bedrooms with large antique single beds and 1 twin room on the ground floor with two single beds. There is ample opportunity for fishing, swimming, watersports and boating in the surrounding area. Lovely gite in quiet countrtsude

  • 4 of 5

The gite was exactly as we had hoped, clean, tidy and a bit quirky but with everything we needed. The wetroom was fabulous! Catherine and Dale were lovely hosts, available to answer our questions on house hunting, but were not intrusive. We would definitely recommend this gite for a peaceful stay in lovely countryside.

From the Owner

A cool, very comfortable stone cottage providing wonderful relief in the height of a hot French summer! Very near to many amenities and life, but far enough away to be quiet, tranquil and full of flora and fauna.
