This charming top floor apartment is full of detail and lots of little extra´s:
The kitchen has every possible utensil in it on top of a wide range of pots and pans. Electric oven/hob, modern fridge/freezer with icemaking facilities, electric juicer, sandwich maker and washing machine.
All bedrooms come with large fitted wardrobes and plenty of coat hangers.
The dining area has a large dining table which can fold out so that it comfortably seats six people.
High powered modern Ceiling fans in living area and bedrooms.
In the living area there is a couch which can fold down into a bed if required. There is a satellite 42inch TV, DVD player & IPhone/pod docking station.
Plenty of novels to read and some board games too.
There is stationary and converter plugs for all your equipment. No need to bring a thing!!
Sliding patio doors lead from the living area onto the balcony with lovely views of tropical gardens. A table and chairs and plenty of space provide a great relaxing spot for breakfast till dinner. The south-facing position makes the terras brilliant even for wintertime visitors!
The bathroom has a shower/bath, bidet and toilet and, for your convenience, a hairdryer and a small supply of shampoo and showergel to overcome that first day and the burden of heavy loaded suitcases.
Hand-, bath- and beach towels are provided.
The roof top terrace is right above the apartment and is very spacious. It has two sunloungers, a table and four chairs, two extra seats and side table. A barbecue is provided which makes this terras great all day and evening round; enjoy the magnificent views of the town and whole area, from the mountains in the west to the sea in the east. Sunsets and sunrises!!
Pools on the ground level have easy access. The small pool is great for the little ones and right next to the bigger pool. There are showers and it is a very clean area.
The apartments comes with private underground parking with access in and out by electric garage, perfect for keeping your car cool with an elevator direct from the car park to your apartment.
The whole building is quite new and wonderfully clean.

On your doorstep:
Less than a minute walk is Oasis Bulaver, where you´ll find a variety of everything. Just to name a few: Pizza and Pasta restaurants, Chinese restaurant, German restaurant, Kebab and burger restaurant, Swedish restaurant, Mexican restaurant, English Bar and restaurant, excellent Sea food restaurant, plenty of Spanish restaurants and bars, a grocery shop, English butcher shop, news agent, beauty salon and drycleaners.
There are 3 supermarkets within walking distance. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Saturday market, famous for the huge supply of fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing and grilled chicken.
The beach is a 10 minute stroll passing lofts of bars and cafes on the way. The beach is 2 minutes by car or 5 minutes on a bicycle.
Price will include towels for apartment use and beach towels.
We also offer bikes for free use. The bikes all have baskets, great for your shopping or for a visit to the beach. Good service for you as the bikes will be ready when you arrive and can be safely parked in the underground parking.
The free use of the bicycles and Golf clubs has proved to be very popular. Please reserve in advance to guarantee availability and so that we can have ready for you when you arrive,

What makes this apartment unique
For me the views from the roof terrace are amazing you can see the sea and mountains. The Balcony has great garden views and everything is within walking distance. The private underground parking with electric garage is great on a hot day with the elevator going straight from the car park to your door.

We have just come back from a week's stay at Angele and Leon's apartment and what a wonderful place it is. Very comfortable and clean, lovely balcony and roof terrace to laze away the time and everything you need inside. Great beaches nearby and easy access to all of the surrounding area. Great places to eat, drink and be merry within walking distance and everyone really friendly. We recommend this place without reservation and hope to come back next year. And Angele, thank you for making us so welcome is was a real pleasure to meet you. Alison, Terry and Sue.
Great Accomodation and surrounding area
We were picked up from the airport by Leon (Angèle's husband) who gave us brilliant with tips for where to eat, drink and the various ways to get to the beach. The the airport is a 5 minute drive to the apartment. Inside the apartment was a welcome pack plus a few special extras for our 5 year old daughter which is a great touch and all in the price (Its the little things that count).
The apartment is clean & comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The balcony is huge and is a real sun trap of a day but also nice and quiet of an evening. I used the bicycles twice when I took a relaxing ride to Lidl which was less than 5 minutes away (10-15 when walking).
The the beach, shops, central bars and restaurants are all within a 15-20 minute walk. The local bars and restaurants at the Oasis complex are across the road from the apartment but we never heard any noise any of the evenings we stayed in.
There is also a small shop on the Oasis complex that sells lots of things including fresh bread and pastries. There is also a Butchers that is run by 2 English guys which closes at 1 or 2pm.
The main pizzeria on the corner was great value for money and you can have a beer while you're waiting for your food which is always a bonus.
The main area in the town centre where all the bars & restaurants are situated has everything for every taste. We tried plenty and they were all of a high standard.
The beaches go on for what seems like miles and are all maintained to a high standard plus a beach bar behind each section of the beach.
I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our holiday, the apartment and Los Alcazeres itself for many more lines of this review but just take our word for it and go.
A big thanks to Leon for making us so welcome and also for all the handy tips regards the local area.

Well presented apartment in good location.
We were made to feel really welcome by Angele who picked us up from the airport. The apartment has everything you need and more. We used the bikes every day which was great to get around the resort. Local bars,restuarants just across the road. The Plaza in town was great, (recommend Rosalinds roof top restuarant).All in all a great relaxing holiday, may well be back.
Apartment suited our needs, it had everything required for a relaxing break.
We were made very welcome by Angèle, collected at the airport (5 minute drive to apartment), a welcome pack of bread, milk,ham, cheese, butter, fruit juice and water was in the fridge, all part of the service. The apartment is well equipt, clean, the bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to self-cater. An added bonus was the availability of bicycles for the use of visitors which meant you were 5 minutes from the beach, shops, central bars and restaurants. There are also a selection of bars and restaurants within 2 minutes of the apartment, all good value and good quality. In particular morning coffee at the Oasis, dinner at Sombra pizzeria and for something a little special Baccus.
All in all the apartment was ideal and we are already considering a return visit.
Lovely apartment in a quiet area
Getting to the apartment takes about 7/8 minutes from San Javier airport. You arrive at the apartment in what looks like quite a residential area but in need of a bit of modernisation. It's called Urbanization Oasis but it's certainly not green and lush ! However once inside the apartment, you get into a nice comfortable space with 2 good sized bedrooms, a nice bathroom, a nice kitchen and comfortable lounge/dining area. The sofa isn't that comfortable at one end.... There are a couple of nice bars a stones throw away and a few eateries. Lousines is the best one by far as the food is of a good portion size and the owner (Pilar) is lovely. The beach is a nice 10-15 minute cycle ride along reasonably quiet roads and the supermarkets are also a 10 minute cycle ride. There are baskets on a couple of the bikes which are handy for the shopping but take a rucksack too, just in case. The beaches are sandy but there was always a wind which in fact made it quite cold when there was a bit of cloud. Beach bars are lovely especially the Spinosa which does really good food and reasonably priced.
So after the initial thoughts of the apartment being in, not the greatest area, there are in fact most of the necessities right on your doorstep and not too far. One further point, Angele (the owner) is lovely and offered to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. She also provided some of the essentials when we got there too - a really nice touch. She was always available via WhatsApp/Text too.

Activity and Interests
Los Alcázares and the Mar Menor área have a lot to offer:
For those who enjoy golf, there are various golf courses in the área; the nearest one is Roda Golf just 5 minutes by car. Serena Golf at ten minutes, the famous La Manga Club at 20 minutes and many many more.
The beaches of Los Alcazares cover an amazing 5 or 6 kilometres. There is a promenade all along the coastline, great for long relaxing walks. The walk is not spoiled by neverending tourist shops and skyskrapers; all you will find are the numerous nice wooden beachbars right at or next to the beach. Here and there you´ll find a little park or children´s play área.
Watersport activities are offered at certain places; banana boat riding, paddle boats, canoes, wind- and kitesurfing and organised boattrips.
Both the old town and the newer "Balneareo" área have many nice restaurants and bars to offer, varying from typical old spanish establishments for great local food, to modern cuisine and lounging. Most restaurants are open all year round.
The nearest villages are San Javier and the lovely beachtown of Santiago de la Ribera, just 7 minutes by car.
Bigger cities worth paying a visit are the capital Murcia at 45 minutes drive and Cartagena at only about 25 minutes. This last town has a lot to offer; an impressive harbour with promenade and an enormous amount of historical buildings and musea with findings dating back from the Roman Empire. Too much to see in a day! Both cities can be reached by public transport from Los Alcazes.
Another place to visit is La Manga, the long strip across the Mar Menor sea. The beautiful beaches along the mediterranean sea are worth visiting for a day. By car it would take about 30 minutes to reach La Manga, but a far more enjoyable way would be hopping on the ferry from either Los Alcazares, Santiago de la Ribera or Lo Pagan.
The área is flat and quite rural; great for cycling. Towards Murcia you will find the mountains of the Sierra Espuña National Park.
There are various shopping centres in the area too: San Javier Dos Mares at 10 minutes, Cartagena at 25 minutes and La Zenia Bulevard at about 15 minutes. The old centre of Murcia (La Taperia) is also great for little boutiques and special things.
The Mar Menor is especially suited for children because this sea is seperated from the rougher and deeper Mediterranean Sea. It is warm and shallow and has no waves on most days.
(The Mar Menor wáter is, on top of that, famous for it´s healing properties).
There are various water parks, zoo´s and theme parks in the región.
