An open plan living area with oak kitchen, 2 stylish bedrooms and a bathroom

The pretty entrance porch with stained glass panels opens into a dual aspect open plan style living room with slate tiled floor and impressive stone inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. The attractive oak fitted kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom features mosaic tiling and pristine white suite. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, a spacious double with attractive oak beamed feature fireplace and a stylish twin bedroom. Outside and to the front is a small courtyard garden where you can relax in the sunshine or enjoy an evening drink at the end of a busy day. FRIDAY CHANGEOVER.

About Deborah Smallbone

We bought the Grove Inn in beautiful Kings Nympton in 2003 after leaving the rat race of London. Since then we have had 2 wonderful boys and have loved building up the pub to what it is today. In 2008 we decided to buy and renovate the thatch cottage across the lane. After literally taking it apart (at one time only the roof, floor and bath were standing!) it was lovingly restored to what it is today. We wanted people to experience our fabulous village so decide to rent it out to holiday makers. Over the years we have had many people returning time after time for the tranquility and peace Owl Cottage offers

North Devon is truly a wonderful area to explore. You have the spectacular coastline with it's long sandy beaches and rocky coves as well as two national parks - Exmoor and Dartmoor. Owl Cottage in Kings Nympton is ideally situated to explore all of these. The traditional thatched cottage is at the heart of a thriving village and really allows you to experience true village life.

Rubbish Weather - Fantastic Cottage

Superb in every way

We searched long and hard for a cosy cottage " somewhere ". We certainly found it.Tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and situated in a very pretty village.Lots of walking both inland and on the coast and the added bonus of the patron owning the pub across the road. Cannot recommend this cottage enough
