We are delighted to be able to offer Avicenna Setara, one of two superb adjacent villas, located in one of the prime locations in Kalkan - the prestigious and much sought-after Kormurluk district.

The villa has 4 en-suite bedrooms, a roof terrace and enviable sea and mountain views.

Set in a generous plot and contemporary in design, Avicenna Setara promises to be very popular additions to our programme and will please our most discerning clients.

The villa can accommodate up to 8 guests (so the two Avicenna villas combined would provide luxury accommodation for a large extended family group).

The villa is set out over three floors as follows:

Ground Floor:

The ground floor comprises a stunning open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living area is double-height with panoramic views and it's furnished in a minimalist but comfortable style.

The kitchen-diner is well equipped with modern appliances including gas hob with electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer microwave oven plus a dining table.

The living area has a flat-screen TV, DVD player and an i-Pod docking station (compatible with i-Phone 5 and newer models).

The whole floor is fronted by full-height windows which allow light to flood into the house and make the most of the sea views. Cool white and cream tones are used within the interior design creating a tranquil place to relax.

The first of the villa's four bedrooms is located on this level - a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room (the twin beds in this room can also be configured as a double if preferred). This room has views out onto the terrace.

First Floor:

The master bedroom (with kingsize bed) is located on this floor - this bedroom is approximately 40 square metres and features a free-standing Jacuzzi bath from which to enjoy the panoramic views of the sea and mountains. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room, a separate dressing room plus a private sea view balcony.

Second Floor:

This floor houses the remaining two bedrooms.

One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bath/shower room and a dressing area. This bedroom can be configured as a double or a twin.

The second of the bedrooms on this floor has an en-suite shower room and a dressing area. This bedroom has a kingsize bed.

Sea and mountain views can be enjoyed from both bedrooms.

Both bedrooms have access to the villa's roof terrace which spans the whole width of the villa. This provides more of those fantastic vistas and the perfect spot from which to enjoy a sundowner while watching Kalkan's lights twinkling before you.

Outside the Villa:

Avicenna Setara features a large infinity pool and terraces on three sides that provide an al-fresco dining area, ample sunloungers and BBQ.

The walk to central Kalkan will take 10-12 minutes along a coastal pathway. The popular Palm Beach Club is situated just below the villa so it's just a couple of minutes' walk. There you can enjoy an excellent lunch, indulge in some water sports or just soak up the sun from the wooden sun-deck over the water.

A twice-weekly clean and linen change is provided (ie - if staying for 1 week, a mid-stay clean and linen change is carried out and if staying for 2 weeks, a clean and linen change is carried out every 3rd or 4th day)

The historic town of Kalkan is situated on Turkey's gorgeous Lycian Coast and was once a simple Turkish/Greek fishing village. Today's Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty with a few good quality low-rise hotels and privately owned villas, a multitude of excellent roof-top restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights, together with a good selection of of stylish and atmospheric blues and jazz bars. Unlike some other Turkish coastal resorts, Kalkan's main economy derives from tourism and consequently, it's inhabitants put much effort and pride into the town's historic preservation. As a result of very strict building regulations and the efforts of the Kalkan Foundation, the town has retained it's charm and special ambiance. The wonderful hospitality of the Kalkan people is another reason why the first-time visitor invariably returns time after time. The village shops stay open 'til around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, carpets and clothing. The narrow streets of the old town are lined with whitewashed shuttered buildings festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea intermingled with shops and terrace-topped restaurants. These streets twist down to the harbour, which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by or by looking at the array of elegant 'gullets'. During the day, you can make use of one of the many 'beach clubs', visit the local market (Thursday), engage in some of the local sporting activities (such as water-skiing, parascending, scuba diving, trekking etc), take a trip to one of the historical sites, drive a jeep up into the mountains, cruise on a gullet or simply relax by your pool.

We can also accept Visa / Mastercard payments online or by phone (please note that payments via this method for UK / Eurozone registered cards incur a 2.50% surcharge - for cards registered outside the UK / Eurozone, the surcharge is 2.99%). Payments via other debit / credit card can be accepted via PayPal, however there will also be a 2.5% surcharge levied if paying by this method.
We advise that you do not book any flights until we have confirmed by email that your selected dates at your chosen accommodation are on hold for you. PLEASE NOTE: Your booking is not confirmed until we have received your deposit payment (or full payment if your holiday start date is within 10 weeks) and we reserve the right to release the dates back for sale if payment is not received promptly.

A 25% deposit is required in order to secure the accommodation with the balance payable 10 weeks prior to your arrival. If your arrival date is within 10 weeks, then the full balance is payable by return. We also ask for a damage deposit of £500 which will be refunded to you in full on your return home, provided there have been no major damages to the villa or its contents during your stay.
