weekend away

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this cottage for a two night weekend break. Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped with everything you need and was very clean. Great location, within walking distance of Conway Castle.

Owner Jane was really helpful, friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay. Jane was very prompt with replying to enquiries that we had and we are definitely coming back to stay here again.

You will not be disappointed with this cottage and we highly recommend it

This cottage is in the perfect location for visiting Conwy and the surrounding area. We used everything (oven, stove, washing machine, parking) and everything worked well. Jane was very accommodating. We highly recommend both the location and the cottage.

Lovely cottage close to Conwy

  • 5 of 5

We are a young family with an 18 month old daughter so choosing somewhere to stay when we travel isn’t as simple as once upon a time!

The cottage at Old Road really suited our needs. The enclosed garden space (that really catches the sun) isn’t overlooked and is a wonderful, quiet spot to relax.

It’s a short walk down the hill to Conwy where there are more than just the usual offerings of buckets, spades and sticks of rock. Some of the independently owned shops, bakeries and Delis were really inviting.

The house itself is really nice, featuring a lounge with cosy furniture and toys for our daughter to play with, a really well equipped kitchen with a superb stove, dining table and high chair, not to mention the lovely bathroom with spacious bath and a fantastic shower! Beats suffering a Travellodge, that’s for certain.

All the neighbours are really friendly and polite and everyone parks in a considerate way, meaning you always have a spot.

Well recommended. Thanks again to Jane.

Comfortable and convenient home in Conwy, Wales

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this property for four nights and were very happy with our choice. The location is great, the house clean and comfortable and owner was helpful with restaurant suggestions. The kitchen was quite large and well-supplied. Because of small, winding streets and houses without garages, parking can at times be tricky. There was a car park near the house that could be used if there was no parking available in front of the house. We had to park there once. We walked most places. The parking wasn’t a problem for us, but would be a consideration for someone who is disabled.

Overall the unit is in good shape and the kitchen looked newly spruced up. The couch in the living room is getting “rump sprung” and will need to be replaced before long, but that was the only thing I saw that needed improvement.

I would return without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your cottage. Lovely and warm in the snow! Handy for the town and to use as a base to explore North Wales. Thank you very much.
