Situated in a quiet part of the beautiful town of Costa Calma noted for its attractive green zone and stunning beach. The key feature of our holiday home is the sizeable heated pool which is the focal point of the outside space. It also offers a private seating and lounging area, washing line, tiled yard for ball games and an outside shower with hot and cold running water. Inside the property there are two double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom) with fitted wardrobes and plenty of space. One of these bedrooms offers the opportunity to have two separate single beds or to put these together. The main bathroom is equipped a walk in shower, a small bath, basin unit, and toilet. The en-suite has a walk in shower, basin unit, toilet and bidet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need from bottle opener to oven.

About Roger Bannard

My wife Eleanor and I, Olivia who is five and Joseph, three, live in Staffordshire. My parents live in Fuerteventura and it was while visiting them that we fell in love with the Island. I am from the Isle of Wight originally and so the laid back island life holds strong appeal.

Why Roger Bannard chose Costa Calma

We found after visiting Fuerteventura a few times and speaking with some locals that the climate throughout the year was better on average in the south of the island. After spending time on Costa Calma beach we decided to focus our search for property in this area.

We set about looking for a property that our growing family and Grandparents could all enjoy and we have purchased this home as a joint venture with them.

What makes this villa unique

On first viewing we fell in love with the feel of the place, it's situation being perfect for capturing the sun all day long, in a private garden with heated pool (what a luxury) looking out at the sea, mountains and parque natural whilst still providing protection from the breeze. Inside, the previous owners have spared no expense on high quality features and fittings which it is hard to do justice to in the photos.

Stunning property, wonderful holiday!

Just got home from a superb stay in this truly stunning villa. Costa Calma has some of the most beautiful beaches we've seen with sea as crystal clear as you can ever imagine! Just heaven.

The villa has everything you need, and more, for the perfect holiday. Easily the best we've stayed in. We hired a car which while not essential was a real bonus as we got to visit a few places around the area and try out different beaches. A trip up into the hills is highly recommended!

The owners of this property couldn't have been lovelier.

Thank you so much for such an amazing stay. We'll never forget it! We'll definitely be back!

Loved It !

We were met by Paddy and Marrion, lovely couple, who show you the ins and outs of the property, leave you their telephone number and ask you to call them if you need anything. Perfect ! Nothing worse than an owner hovering about every day so 10/10 for the privacy. Great communication from Roger and Paddy whilst there.

The property was perfect. No air con, which we thought would be a problem, but it is not. The breeze of Fuerteventura and a few open windows works a treat. There are fans for each room and they work just as good as air con so no issues for us.

Location is perfect. Quiet, tucked away but close enough for shops. Only a 5 to 10 minute stroll into Costa Calma and to the beach if that. Just right.

Property was clean, well presented and just the type of place we would buy abroad so it felt like home to us. Pool was perfect and the cover keeps the heat in. Pool perfect.

We loved it and we will be staying again here next time we come to Fuerteventura. Top quality pad in a lovely part of the island.

Photos of villa are 100% what you get.

Great communication from booking email. Directions are 1st class. Met at villa and given guided tour of how everything works.

Pool is lovely and a perfect temperature. The cover is a great idea and works well to maintain temp, helps prevent sunburn on kids and keeps pool nice and clean.

Costa calma is quiet so don't expect too much in the way of night life which suited us.

We took a good board game and some cards. Coupled with our books we were never at a loss but maybe we are easily entertained.

10 out of 10 for apartment and it's facilities

6 out of 10 for local supermarkets

6 out of 10 for night life

10 out of 10 for beaches

I mentioned the addition of some plastic plates and beakers would be a good idea and I really missed being able to bbq by the pool during the day. Loads of room there so an easy fix for us bbq people

If you want an excellent quiet secluded villa.....

We have just returned from another great holiday in Fuerteventura. It was the first time we had stayed at a villa in the south of the island and in looking for one were drawn to “8/4” by reviews submitted from previous visitors and its multiple five start ratings. We are happy to add a further five star rating to the growing number!

Everything said in the other reviews we can fully endorse from the first contact with Roger to organise our week there to being met on arrival by Roger’s parents, Paddy and Marion, at the villa who were so friendly and willing to help in any way they could.

One comment not mentioned before and another plus point for the villa is, with the pool being able to be covered, this makes it more secure if a family decided to go and had young (under 5) children with them as first they would have to open them to gain access to the pool. Not applicable to us (this time!) but would have been if our two granddaughters had been with us.

We also went to the Restaurant Mediterran 200 metres down the road on the basis of one of the reviews…great food and great value.

If we are heading back to Costa Calma then we would look no further for a villa.

This is a fantastic villa which is spotlessly clean. It has every amenity for a perfect holiday. The communication with the owners was excellent as was the warm welcome we received from Paddy and Marion on arrival. The villa is very private and conveniently located next to a number of shops and restuarants, one of which we can highly recommend is Restuarant Mediterran where the food was excellent and well presented. There are a couple of good supermarkets close by. We hired a car which was perfect for exploring the many gorgeous beaches around the area, we can recommend Cicar for an easy reliable service. We would not hesitate in recommending this villa to anyone and have to say one week was not long enough we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Just Perfect

Amazing villa in a quiet residential area. Pool and garden secluded which made it perfect for us. First time we have booked on owners direct and will not be the last. Our property is based in Costa Calma which is situated a 45 minute drive south of the airport. There are buses from the airport to Costa Calma but we can also arrange for an English taxi driver to collect you. Once at the house no hire car is necessary to reach the excellent local amenities.

Further Details:

The beach as well as bars, restaurants, supermarket, shops and a pool bar are all within 10 minutes walk of the house. There are also some excellent walks with up to 17 miles of beach and coast line to walk.
