Sleeping 4, in two bedrooms, this former coach house is set in the mature garden of a Victorian villa, two minutes from the railway station. Trains run frequently to Glasgow Central and, in the other direction, to Gourock and Wemyss Bay. By car, Glasgow International Airport is ten minutes away, as is the Erskine Bridge, with its access to the scenic North Clyde west coast, Loch Lomond, and many other famous Scottish beauty spots.

Lovely cottage in Bishopton.

Lovely cottage, very clean and tidy, had every appliance possible to use.

This cottage was very good for our 4 year old son as it had toys upstairs to play with indoors and a large garden with slide and swing outdoors, only negative about outside was the patio had a few broken slabs which were a bit of a nucenice ( these have possible been broken by cars parking on the small slabs).

The inside of the house was very bright and airy, plenty space for our little family of 3.

We will Defo return to this cottage again and we would like to thank Lis and Beth for letting us borrow there beautiful cottage for a short time.

Lovely house in a very handy location

We have just returned home from our 2nd stay at Bishopton Cottage. The cottage has two lovely bedrooms, both ensuite, and one with a large dressing room. The bedrooms are on different floors. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area and the property benefits from a lovely additional lounge on the first floor. They each have freeview TV as does the bedroom on the ground floor which also has a lovely sofa. Spoilt for choice for where to relax. We also enjoyed sitting out in the garden during our summer trip. The cottage is lovely and clean. It is tucked away behind the main house, so is very peaceful and quiet, but only a 1 to 2 minute walks to Bishopton train station. Fast service to Glasgow around 16 mins. Or 6 mins to paisley Gilmour Street for connections to the Ayrshire Coast. We did not have a lot of time to explore Bishopton itself but there is a handy little local shop just over the road, also does breakfast to takeaway. Not sure how close to main supermarket but we got a Tesco delivery for our main shop. Lovely hotel, Mar Hall, around a £7 taxi ride. We understand there is another hotel, shops etc around 10/15 mins walk. Have had a lovely time and would happily return. The owners also rent out an apartment in the main house which looks lovely on the website and the house looks stunning from outside when we passed by. Thanks for a lovely trip.

Lovely rental for a family, very child friendly

I stayed here with my mother and my 15 month old daughter. The accommodation was perfect for us. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. There was everything we needed for a short stay, including toys for my daughter to play with, a big garden with a swing and slide for her to enjoy. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The accommodation is well located near the train station and the local village shop. It is a quiet and peaceful place, but with easy access to central Glasgow and the airport.
