A spectacular and spacious ground floor apartment situated on the Promenade in the delightful village of Arnside, Cumbria.

The apartment provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for 5/6 people in a building of real character.

The 26ft lounge boasts stunning views of the Kent Estuary and in the distance the South Lakeland Fells.

Both bedrooms have en suite - please note that bedroom one - a twin room is on the ground floor and bedroom two - the double room is located in the converted basement. There.is also a double bed settee in the sitting room which is fine for short stays.

There is a delightful garden with plenty of available parking at the front and off street parking for one car at the rear.

The apartment has full central heating and is equipped to a very high standard.

It is tastefully furnished throughout and is in the heart of Arnside Village with two pubs, a restaurant, shops and cafes all within walking distance - that is not to mention the famous Arnside Chippy!

The area, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoys the wide expanse of Morecambe Bay to the west, the rolling Pennine Hills to the east and the South Lakeland Fells to the north.

It is a perfect location for those who enjoy walking, cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing, horse riding, bird watching or simply enjoying being surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Children welcome. Non smoking only. Pets not allowed. Wheelchair inaccessible.

Situated in the delightful village of Arnside, an area which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is a perfect location for those who enjoy walking (at all levels), cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing, horse riding, bird watching or simply enjoying being surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The area is a treasure trove of different sites and places to visit.

There are numerous historic houses, old churches, dams, reservoirs and gardens.

Natural wonders include limestone pavements, the Kent Estuary "Bore", spectacular Morecambe Bay sunsets and fine views across the Kent Estuary.

Local attractions include:-

Leighton Moss - a few miles outside Arnside and a bird watchers paradise.

Cartmel - famous for its Bank Holiday Races and for its, now, famous restaurant L'Enclume.

Windermere/Ambleside - spectacular views of Lake Windermere

Hague Hall Gardens

Rydal Mount - the historic home and gardens of William Wordsworth

A stunning view

We had a lovely few days ,at this apartment. the views from the sitting room were fabulous. The apartment was spacious with modern facilities with a great location giving easy access to lovely areas of Cumbria and lLancashire. Great for cycling and walking. Good train links with Lancashire : we had a lovely evening out in Lancaster and caught the last train home at 11.30. Hope to return.

Relaxing, cosy property in a great location

Lovely property in a great location. Easy to get around is you are using public transport and pubs and shops nearby (including basic food shops). Very well equipped kitchen with every you need. Comfy beds and, of course, that fantastic view.

Superb location. Really helpful hosts

This is a wonderful location and a spacious, well appointed apartment. My family and I had a great stay. And the hosts were incredibly responsive to each of the (small) issues that we needed help with. So this is highly recommended to anyone looking to enjoy Arnside and the surrounding area (we love it!). A minor point that came up for us, because we have small children, is that the master bedroom is downstairs from the rest of the flat. Maybe worth an edit to the listing (or a closer reading, if I missed that!).

A very nice apartment on a wonderful location

The apartment is very nicely located on the promenade, and our kids loved to play in the muddy sand in front of the house. Arnside is located very well for day trips to different places in the Lake District, and even the northern parts can be easily reached with a 1.5h drive. There is little shop close by for supplies, and nice places to eat and drink coffee on the same road. The bedroom in the basement needs to be ventilated well before using, but otherwise the apartment is in tip-top shape and very well supplied for a family stay.

We very much enjoyed our visit!
