Recently renovated and offering all the comforts of home,
Hunter's lodge is a delightful semi-detached stone cottage finished to a high
standard. The owners have luxury as well as functionality in mind with all
bedrooms having an adjoining bathroom or shower room. Ideal then, not just for
families but also for friends looking to travel together. This cottage is all about comfortable living and you certainly won't be disappointed. All on one level the living space here is sociable and open
plan with a kitchen, dining area and sitting room all in one. It's easy to imagine yourself cooking on
the bbq, with the kids playing nearby in complete safety on this private 20
acre small holding, with a glass of wine in hand, utterly relaxed!
Hunter's Lodge is a barn conversion and together with The
Stables would make a great location for a large group letting both cottages.
The houses are located next to the owners own, small, private campsite where
all the facilities are available to the guests too. The owners go to great
lengths to make sure you are happy here and we're sure you will be! They offer
pony rides, there is a communal campfire for toasting marshmallows! Fresh eggs
are available to buy from the farmhouse and even a sandpit and play area for
the kids. Laundry services are available too if you don't want to do your own
washing. If you can bring yourself away from this rural idyll there is much to
do beyond the gates of Talli Ho too. Nearby is one of the most stunning beaches
in all of North Wales, Newborough beach and Llandwyn Island. Newborough forest
makes for great exploring too with paths weaving in and out of the pine trees,
a popular jaunt for tourist and locals alike. Rhosneigr is close by too where
there is every conceivable water sport available, the beach there is famed for
kite surfing and is one of the best locations in the UK to do it. The best part
about the location at Hunter's Lodge is that you can feel a million miles from
anywhere and yet be roughly 20 minutes from any coastal part of Anglesey,
opening up the opportunity for trips to Beaumaris a delightful Georgian coastal
town overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, Moelfre the prettiest postcard
village on the island and if you fancy a bit of retail therapy, the university
city of Bangor is easily reached within 25 minutes.

We visited Hunters Lodge for a weekend in October 2016. We were the only visitors so was very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. An excellent Base to explore the delights of Anglesey.
We had an enjoyable stay at hunters lodge - good location for Aberffraw and easy enough to get to most places on Anglesey within 30 minutes. We loved the outdoor space with a nice play area and the animals - good for young children. Cottage itself was fine - comfortable and well equipped, although a better welcome pack including info re heating, use of induction hob, (markings worn off), recycling etc. would have helped - but not a big problem.
Well presented, good layout and size. Unsecured garden onto car park and outlook onto unattractive high fence shielding camping wcs. Lovely play area.
We had a lovely time at Talli Ho cottage over the Easter bank holiday weekend. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful island. The Easter chocs, wine and eggs were a lovely touch and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. I would definitely recommend staying at this campsite.
