The Delaney Penthouse is a gorgeous cosy third floor apartment in one of the magnificent Regency buildings towards the end of the Old Steine. It is comprised of a lounge with dining table and kitchen off to the right, one large bedroom and one luxury bathroom with bath and shower over. Wifi internet is free. TV provided by Sky. Local shopping and eating establishments are everywhere - you'll be spoiled for choice! Entertainment venues for all ages are right on the doorstep - from the famous Palace Pier and Sealife Centre to crazy golf and clubbing - there is something for everyone.

Nice apartment, great location, could've done with a lift.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here. It was nice, cosy and homely, with a great view of the area and even peeking out at Brighton Pier from the window. It was a bit small, mainly the bathroom, but we could still easily move around the apartment and it didn't feel lacking in space. The bed was the most comfortable one I have stayed in, the kitchen had everything we needed in terms of crockery, there were still products that the previous stayers had kindly left for the next renters, and we had plenty of room and ease of space for plugging our own game consoles into the TV.

There's not a lot of complaints, but we do have a few small issues. Namely that the staircase is small and narrow, so my partner struggled to navigate it, especially when we carried our luggage through it. Adding to that, the apartment doesn't have a lift, which would have been convenient. This also makes it harder for people with possible physical disabilities. Our other issue is with the oven, which seemed to have a defect: the timer didn't seem to work correctly, among other strange issues, and using a specific feature could short out the apartment according to the landlord, Nathan, but despite this the oven was still usable.

But despite these small issues, our stay was wonderful and Nathan was really friendly and helpful the entire time we stayed. He was always open to contact and got back to us as soon as we messaged him, and was even there in less than 20 minutes. If we find ourselves needing a place to stay, we will gladly stay here again.

Great location, beautiful appartment, helpful landlord

Had a lovely stay at Flat 5, 28 Old Steine from the moment we arrived. Beautifully presented 1 bed flat, but with further sleeping for 2-3 people. Location is perfect for beach/town, landlord Nathan really helpful with local knowledge. We had a brilliant time and will no doubt be back!

  • The apartment is right in the heart of Brighton by the Palace Pier, therefore most town centre activities are easy to walk to. The Marina is about 2km away but easy access by bus (walking takes about 40m). The Brighton Pavilion is visible from the apartment so is also in easy walking distance as is the Dome and Corn Exchange.
