needs an update
After reading some of the previous reviews we started to regret booking this villa, this was the 4th time we stayed in a villa at mazzaron country club but 1st time at this particular villa. As for the cleanliness we could not fault it, it was spotless, no problem there at all. It is just every thing is getting worn out and really does need updating.The beds made an awful noise when you moved, the mattress was rock hard. The pool was ok, yes the odd tile missing but that made no affect and we saw the pool man twice in the 10days we stayed there so the pool was very clean.
We had a major sewage blockage which which resulted in the the toilet spewing out stinking dirty water all over the bathroom floor. But I would have to say that Sabine the villa manager and her husband got on and sorted very quickly, Though sods law it was my birthday and we had the day planned but we had to go back to the villa [we were out] and wait in until after lunch when the blockage was sorted no spare key! No fault can be blamed on Sabine [manager] and her Husband they were absolutely brilliant.
But what has rankled me most was the owner. No help in arranging a late checkin had to contact Sabine sort it out. Had an email a week before we left informing me I had to pay 80 euros cash for cleaning and meet and greet and their words; No cash No keys! Also, as the owner, a short email to us to apologise for the inconvenience of the sewage leak in the bathroom would have been nice.
All that said we still had a lovely 10 days with fantastic weather
Would we stay there again? probably not.
