The apartments are Ski in/Ski out, being located at the foot of the slopes, in Plagne Bellecote, and are very close to the ski lifts and all amenities/shops etc. I have skied right back to the entrance door (snow and people permitting) when conditions are perfect. The ski lifts are a short 100-150m walk from the building entrance/ski lockers. The Spar food shop, bakers and other food outlets (selling traditional French Cheese, ham etc outlets) are all within 10m-40m from the apartment building entrance. A lovely bar (The Spitting Feathers), and a French Restaurant is on the doorstep, and the resort has a number of other excellent restaurants, bars, creperies and pizzerias all within 150m from the building entrance. With 5 Ski hire outlets, and 2+ ski schools, and not forgetting the heated outdoor swimming pool, Spa/Hammam, Snowmobiles and Cinema, Plagne Bellecote really is the perfect ski resort in which to stay.
THE APARTMENTS (each comes with a lockable ski locker)
These four superb and large (25.7m2 + 3.1m2 balcony) Ski and Summer apartments are available to book throughout the year, and come complete with all bed linen and shower/pool towels provided. My guests benefit from free unlimited entry into the resort's outdoor heated swimming pool.
Each apartment has 2 divisible sleeping areas, providing the perfect accommodation for your skiing/snowboarding and summer mountain biking, walking or paragliding holidays.
The apartments are perfect for up to 4 persons. 4 apartments sleep 4 to 6 persons, though are then very cosy, though perfect for those groups of 6 just wanting somewhere to sleep between the amazing skiing. The 5th apatrtment sleeps 4-5 persons (single not double elevated bed as in the 4-6 person apartments).
The apartments can be booked separately, or book 2,3,4 or 5 for larger families/groups (or book my 8-16 person Chalet ! - just ask for details/info...chalet ref 8081468).
The 2 adjoining apartments are perfect for 2 families or larger groups of 7 to 12. Groups of 9 to 18 can book 3 apartments and groups of 16 to 24 can book 4 apartments, and 20-29 can book all 5 apartments and still remain very close together within the building, with just one flight of stairs between each floor.
The two adjacent apartments on the 3rd floor share the adjoining balconies and booked together cater for groups of up to 12 in size. The apartments are next to each other, but have no internal access from one to the other. Access from one to the other is via the corridor.
SLEEPING AREAS AND FLEXIBLE BED ARRANGEMENTS AND BED LINEN
Each apartment offers 2 flexible divisible sleeping areas (utilising the lounge area), and the two areas can be separated at night using the sliding doors. Each individual apartment sleeps up to 6 and the beds can be arranged to provide either 4 singles and a double, or 2 singles and 2 doubles or 3 doubles. Note that 2 of the doubles are formed by pushing 2 singles together. All bed linen is provided (and TOWELS for the shower and pool).
The 4-5 person apartment has a single elevated bed, rather than the large double in the other 4 apartments.
WI-FI, TV, PLAYING CARDS DOMINOES PICKUP STICKS. DVD AND FILMS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST (IN ADVANCE).
Each apartment comes with free Wi-fi, playing cards, table games and a full HD TV (though with limited UK channels..see below). The TV channels are mainly foreign, with just some UK speaking news channels. So I therefore recommend you bring your tablet/laptop/smart phone to download and watch your own subscription Netflix/Amazon films and TV channels on if important to you while away from home. I do have a DVD available for guests plus 150+films on request.
KITCHEN, COOKING FACILITIES & PIERRADE/RACLETTE
The kitchens are small and cosy (room for one person!), but well fitted with a 2 ring electric hob, combination microwave/oven, toaster, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, large and small cafetiere's, full size tea/coffee mugs, fridge and full sized dishwasher (tablets supplied!) and come with all the plates, cutlery, utensils and pans that you will need to self cater. Each apartment also comes with a granite stone pierrade/raclette (hot stone/grill) for sociable in-apartment evening dining. Duck breast, Steak and Chicken/Turkey to cook on the hot stone can all be sourced locally. It is also perfect for cooking vegetables!
DINING TABLE - The dining table in each apartment seats up to 6.
BATHROOM, DRYING WET GEAR & TOWELS
The bathrooms comprises a bath with bath shower screen and riser attachment, a basin, and has 2 large storage areas for clothes, towels etc. One of the cupboards is heated to dry all those wet/damp towels, ski clothes and gloves. TOWELS are provided, one for the shower and one for the pool.

SKI LOCKER - Guests have use of the ski locker, located on the ground floor of the building.
SLEDGES - are available in the ski season for the children or adults to use in the evenings.
Plagne Bellecote is the perfect ski resort and provides guests with a huge array of apres skiing activities, including for my guests free entry into the outdoor swimming pool (heated to 30 degrees), with a payable sauna and hot tub facility, a natural ice skating rink, cinema (sometimes showing English speaking films), spa/sauna/hammam, snowmobiles, sledging, and has many superb and friendly restaurants and bars.
BELLE PLAGNE - LINKED RESORT for evening dining etc.
The resort is linked to Belle Plagne by free Gondola (which runs until 00.45am) allowing guests to make full use of all the bars, restaurants and facilities there, which include a 10 Pin bowling bar and a nightclub which stays open till 4-5 am and provides early morning transport back to the apartment in the early hours of the morning, after the ski lift closes.
SKI SCHOOLS, ski hire, and the lift pass office are all in the resort, as well as a Half Pipe and Big Air Bag. Ski School in Plagne Bellecote is ESF. In Belle Plagne Oxygene and in Plagne Centre Reflex, which comes highly recommended.
Always book on-line for the best prices, from either of Ski Republic, Ski Set, Skimium or Intersport, all of which are in Plagne Bellecote and close to the apartments.
There are some free parking places in the resort, or otherwise covered parking from €40 per week. I always endeavour to greet my arriving guests in person, no matter what time of the day or evening, and will always assist in finding free parking if any is available, or to advise on the other available payable parking options.

About 10 years ago, I discovered the joys of skiing and paragliding, and loved those activities so much, just had to live in the Alps. So 6 years ago, after 2 years of searching and looking at every property on the market in the French Alps, found and bought a 6 bedroomed chalet, in a small village on the back of La Plagne, and have since spent the ski seasons and summers here in France indulging my passion for those sports and the mountains. In 2015 I invested in these 4 close together ski apartments and so looking forward to the fast approaching ski season. The apartments are not only amazing accommodation in their own right, but form a detached extention to my ski chalet located on the back of La Plagne (and opposite the 3 Vallees Ski domain) and are just an hour away skiing, or driving door to door. My guests now have the opportunity to stay in both the quaint mountain village with fantastic views of the 3 Vallees, and also to stay over in La Plagne, to experience the apres ski and evening entertainment and activities in the ski resort.
When I am not skiing or paragliding, I am a Chartered Accountant and run my own accounting and tax practice in the UK. I have 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

6 Years ago I bought a 6 bedroomed chalet (Chez Helene) on the back of La Plagne, 'Chez Helene', which is located in a small mountain village opposite La Tania (Courchevel), and in the last 5 years have skied extensively all over the 3 Vallees (Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens) and Paradiski (La Plagne/Les Arcs) domains.
La Plagne is by far my favourite ski area. In my opinion the skiing is the best and the ski area itself is just fantastic value. It is where I bring my family (adult children) and friends every year when they come to ski. In fact I love La Plagne so much that I purchased these 4 adjacent ski apartments in Plagne Bellecote, to secure a foothold in the ski resort and to allow my guests to experience both the chalet and the studios in the coming years.
Why these Apartments - When I first saw the apartments it wasn't a question of 'do I buy one', but how many do I buy ! I believe the studios are very spacious (25.7m2) and laid out so well that they facilitate numerous bed configurations, and provide my family/friends and guests the perfect place to stay for winter skiing and summer alpine activity holidays. Having looked at all the village resorts in La Plagne, in my opinion Plagne Bellecote (which is linked with Belle Plagne) is the place to stay in La Plagne. 4 amazing lifts take you to every area/corner of the domain.
I am confident that my guests will want to return again and again to stay and enjoy these amazing mountains.
With both the ski chalet and the ski apartments I can now offer some of my guests a unique skiing experience, with skiing in La Plagne, Les Arcs, Courchevel, Meribel & Val Thorens, staying in the chalet, or an in-resort skiing experience for guests staying in the apartments, and for some guests a 2 centre ski holiday.

Spacious apartments for 2, Perfect for 4, Cosy for 6 !
The beds can be arranged to provide 4 singles and a double, or 2 singles and 2 doubles, or 3 doubles, so perfect for families and mixed groups.
I have 2 adjacent studios of the same floor, and so can provide accommodation for families/groups of up to 12 in the same location, plus one apartment above on the fourth floor, and yet another above that one on the fifth floor.. so can now accommodate groups of up to 24 in total in the resort + 12 in the Chalet.
So, together with my 6 bedroomed/8 double bedded Ski Chalet ('Chez Helene' Owners Direct ref 8081468) located on the back of La Plagne, and opposite the ski resort of La Tania in Courchevel/3 Vallees, I can now offer my guests a 2 centre Ski holiday accommodation package, with easy access to the worlds largest and third largest linked ski domains...... namely the 3 Vallees and Paradiski. Furthermore, I can offer guests trips of any number of nights from 3 to 21 and any number in between. Also 10/11 night stays taking in 2 weekends., maximising skiing days/minimising days taken off work , minimising ski pass costs (with up to 50% discounts on ski pass costs), and can provide transport, airport transfers, discounted ski hire and many other services to provide you with the very best Ski or snowboard Holiday. And finally, I am able to accommodate up to 24 Guests in the resort, and a further 12+ in the chalet.
Great communication with David before the holiday. He very kindly met us when we arrived and helped with bags and parking. During the holiday he lent us a raclette which was good fun.
When we saw the flat though, it soon became obvious that it was going to be a struggle all week. The flat is a quintessential ski flat aimed for a maximum of 4 people, however this flat had a bed built above another double bed. As a consequence of this, there was minimal storage for all our kit (there was shelving in the bathroom, but this was used to air sallopettes etc). Ski helmets had to sit on the tiny floor space available, along with all our suitcases, clean clothes, dirty clothes and parofanalia that comes with four children.
The kitchen needed a complete makeover, amongst other things, cutlery was stored in an old coffee jar (complete with label), whilst the sink cupboard tipped forward every time it was used.
Just to add insult to injury, when I first used the bathroom, I had to empty the bin (and clean the floor around it) of used personal items from the previous tenants, and we found a bag of rotting, sprouting potatoes in a cupboard.
Because the flat was aimed at 4, it was impossible to store 6 sets of boots, skis and poles in the locker. There was only one key to the locker which was really inconvenient (it was a small padlock which could have been changed for under £5!) We were given 5 passes for the swimming pool, it was explained that one had been lost and it would cost the owner a euro to replace it...
We aren't fussy travellers, as long as somewhere is clean and value for money, we will be happy. However, with a combination of a shorter skiing day, we packed up and left a night early to stay at a formula 1 on the route home.
Along with the fact that the owner was charging top rates, I was disappointed.
These points were made to the owner on the last day.
The Apartment was clean and tidy. David the owner ensured that everything was to our satisfaction and was always on hand if required. The apartment was well furnished, warm and comfortable. There is plenty of room for a family of four and will easily sleep six,
We would certainly book this apartment again.
Excellent value for money..
This was the perfect place to stay for our long weekend break with all the facilities right on your doorstep. Great location to get straight on the lifts and explore the extensive ski area. Dave the owner could not be more helpful. Just wish we had a whole week to explore the rest of the pistes.
We took a short break at La Plagne to enable us to ski. The location is absolutely superb. David, the owner is very hospitable and is only too willing to help in any way he can. The apartment is tired but welcoming and comfortable and has all the amenities you require for a stay. We will return.
The room we stayed was cozy, simple yet somehow making us feel at home. The location was perfect - despite the lack of snow we didn't have to suffer too much in/out of the apartment as we had a locker downstairs. Many restaurants, a swimming pool, an ice skate rink, even a cinema were within max 5 min walk distance from the apartment. We never got board.
The owner David was such a friendly and dedicated man who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our holiday. The kids loved occasional visit by the dog Holly! We had a wonderful Christmas week away. We would definitely consider visiting again.
We are 6 adults and stayed in 4 nights. All quite tall (5 taller then 185 cm). We was already in advance in to that the apartment will be "intimate". Two of us needed to share a double bed...
We only had breakfast in the apartment and ate in the nearby restaurants. With limited space we could all enjoy the morning together without any issues. Only issue is that the apartment comes with one toilet and only one in the kitchen.
However, the washer machine saves a lot of frustration and its tablets is included.
The apartment is close to the slope and David is easy to talk to. Cleaned and fresh, but the stile in is 20-ish years old if you would ask me. It's basic and you get what you pay for. We had our ski's in the balcony.
No much to say. It is a small apartment. Would recommend max 4 persons, but more is possible. Just need to keep order. You have what you need, but don't expect to much.
If I would re-book this apartment? I would indeed consider it.

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking, with the 75% balance payable 8 weeks before the start of your stay. I reserve the right to ask for a damage deposit of £250, refundable within 7 day of your departure by bank transfer, subject to deduction for any damages/breakages or cleaning required. All damage/breakages must be paid for in full.
The rates include provision of all bed linen and towels.
You are responsible for cleaning the apartment on departure, leaving the apartment in the state in which you find it on your arrival (which should be very clean and tidy - please advise me immediately on arrival if that is not the case!). Please strip the beds and put all the bed linen inside one duvet cover, with any used towels. Please vacuum all floor surfaces, moving the beds to clean behind and underneath. Please 'flash' clean all floor and top surfaces, in the kitchen, bathroom, dining area and lounge (shelves/table tops). Please clean the toilet surfaces and floor using the 'Flash' or other cleaning spray product that is provided, BUT please do not put kitchen towels or other cleaning cloths etc down the toilet, but in the waste bags. Please empty all bins (and wash out if dirty/crumbed) and put the waste bags in the waste/recycling bins, which are located just outside the building. A cleaning service maybe available for an extra charge by prior arrangement. Contact David if you wish to arrange for that service.
