About the property

2 x 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom newly re-decorated and furnished, spacious apartments with panoramic views overlooking pool and scenic views to Vilamoura. Rent both flats for larger parties.

Ideally situated for golf (at Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo etc.) and close to beautiful sandy beaches at Falesia.

Shops and restaurants are close by and Faro airport is a 25-30min. drive - providing a central location for a relaxing, or an activity-based vacation:

BEDROOMS - Flat 7 (ground floor) - sleeps 6

1. Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and large fitted wardrobes (sleeps 2)

2. Second bedroom with one bunk bed and a single bed (sleeps 3) - and fitted wardrobes - a camp bed can be erected for 6th guest (linen charge £20)

FLAT 16 (first floor) - sleeps 5

Double bed in master bedroom, and twin single beds in second bedroom. In flat 16 there is also a single camp bed available (additional linen charge £20 per stay)

En-suite to master bedroom with bath (shower over), hand basin, toilet and bidet.

Second bathroom adjacent to second bedroom with shower, hand basin and toilet.

KITCHEN - both flats

Well equipped with washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas hob, oven, kettle, and toaster. Small balcony overlooking rear of property with airer and stool (for smokers! No smoking inside the property please but do make use of the balconies if you wish to smoke).

Boilers located in the kitchen of flat 7 is Brand New, Fully Tested by GASCAN, with a 5 year safety certificate.

Smoke detectors are fitted in both kitchens.

Large lounge/diner with balcony - overlooking pool and scenic views to Vilamoura. In flat 16 the balcony wraps around the living area with sliding doors on 2 walls for plenty of light. Table and chairs for al fresco dining (on balcony) - flat 7. Coffee table and reclining chairs in flat 16.

Flat 7 (ground floor): Two sofas . Dining table and 6 chairs. TV and CD player. Internet/wi-fi.

All linen and towels are incl. (6th guest in flat 7 and 5th guest in flat 15 pay small extra linen charge). A full, clean set of linen and towels is provided for your stay - extra linen for longer stays by arrangement.

Beach towels are not provided.

There are two lounger chairs and an umbrella allocated to each apartment.

In flat 16 there's 2 x sunbed loungers and cushions.

We live in Surrey and have enjoyed holidaying in the Algarve with friends. We have two teenagers and 2 dogs; Tracey works in Marketing in London and Keith is a computer engineer. We have recently bought and re-decorated these apartments and hope you will enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Why Keith Saunders; Tracey White chose Vale de Carro

The apartments are close to Olhos de Agua and Vilamoura - and about 9km from Albufeira. They are on a quiet development and the surrounding countryside is rural Portugal at its best. They're not too far from shops and amenities, and close to Falesia beach. A car is recommended but not essential. We love being close to facilities but 'far from the madding crowd'.

The Portuguese sunshine, hospitality - and seafood - keep us coming back.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartments are spacious and quiet - and both are tastefully and newly decorated throughout - and re-furbished. The ground floor flat is adjacent to - and overlooks the pool. The first floor flat is on the corner of the building hence benefits from sunshine on two sides and a wrap around balcony meaning more sunny hours to enjoy . The two bathrooms in both flats are brand new - with new showers and newly fitted kitchens. There are small balconies front and back and plenty of parking. The flats have extensive views and aren't over-looked. In flat 15 upstairs, the views are spectacular. Of course, you can rent both flats together.

February break

Great size apartment for our family of 4. All the facilities in there that are needed. The second shower bathroom ideal . Probably need a car to get around as a little off the beaten track but only 25 min walk to local shops/bars and restaurants.Tracey and Keith were really helpful with lots of tips. Great spot for the albuferia , vilamoura , area inc beaches and golf. Pool and gardens were clean.

Only negatives were the balcony was too small to sunbathe on and the whole urbanisation was a bit quiet as it was pre season.

Overall very impressed and would go back ourselves and recommend these appts.

Brilliant Apartment

Keith was so amazing as a host, showed us the local spots and what to do, the apartment was brilliant, open and clean with all the mod cons you could need and the swimming pool was perfect :)

10/10 would stay here again!

A wonderful holiday

We had a great holiday at this very nice apartment in the Algarve in Portugal. First impressions were of a light & airy and spacious apartment which was spotlessly clean and all exactly as described 'on the tin'. Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms meant plenty of room to spread out and although we didn't do much cooking on site the kitchen was well equipped. We had a nice little balcony with views over the swimming pool and beyond to the countryside. The pool was really lovely, although there are about 20 apartments it never felt overcrowded and we were often in there on our own, and this was August.

There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, we sampled several of the local restaurants and the beach. A car is certainly useful though we did walk to town (about 15 to 20 mins) several times.

I would certainly go again and recommend to friends & family. Thanks.

Spotlessly clean, spacious & quiet.

We had a fantastic weeks holiday in this property. Keith was so friendly and helpful; our transfer service brought us to the wrong apartment block on the first day and Keith came to collect us and brought us to get some shopping before we settled in. This was very much appreciated as we had our two young children with us. Nothing was too much trouble during the week he was on hand at all times to answer any queries.

In regards to the apartment, it is fabulous; spacious and spotlessly clean. It has a lovely little balcony that looks on to the pool. It was so quiet despite it being mid-July, so much so that we only ever had to share the pool with one or two familes any time we were in it.

The location of the apartment is excellent in regards to being quiet which was most important for us having our kids withe us but it would definitely be advisable to hire a car unless you don't mind using taxis constantly (it's approx €10 to go to the strip or €5 to go to local restaurants).

We would highly recommend this apartment and are already planning our next trip!

Perfect summer get-away

My boyfriend and I decided to have a sunny break away from our busy working lives so wanted a private, cosy apartment with a short-drive away from a lively family town. This place was just great, pretty much exactly what we were after. Really friendly hosts & got much needed rest & sun.

I stayed here with some friends last year and I was not expecting such a great and memorable experience!

The apartment was very clean and refreshingly cool when temperatures rose to well above 25 degrees. The rooms are spacious and simple and which is all that is needed when there is so much to do so locally. With the beach within walking distance and shops and restaurants en route, this apartment is in the perfect location, out the way of traffic and neatly perched in a quiet neighbourhood looking over stunning views of Pine Cliffs.

The lively town of Vilamoura is a 15 minute drive or 30 minute bike ride which can be rented (quite flexibly) at a local shop. Its high-end hotels and luxury boats make for a great outing with plenty of opportunity to buy souvenirs in the marina shops.

Another must visit place is the town of Lagos. Although a 45 minute drive away (about the same journey from Faro airport to this apartment), it offers gorgeous scenery of beaches and historic 16th century walls used to protect the city. It has a market and lots of restaurants to grab a bite of local cuisine or just the standard burger and chips.

Although these two popular towns are great to visit, the simple and peaceful location of this apartment is perfect if your looking for convenience, beauteous landscapes and seclusion from noisy tourists.

I had a fantastic time here and I will most definitely be looking to return! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The property is a short distance to Vilamora - located between here and Albufeira.

Long sandy beaches at Falesia can easily be accessed by car in 5-10 mins. Parking is good and there is a beach café and sun loungers available (see the amazing red cliffs).

Many other beaches nearby in this beautiful part of the Algarve.

The village of Olhos d'Agua is close by - providing lots of restaurants and a small sandy cove.

Local shops are a 2 minute drive/15min walk away (Estr. das Acoteias - here you'll find our favourite great value Italian: Ristorante Italiano o Sole Mio).

There's also a wonderful fish restaurant within walking distance (Rotiro do Isca).

Albufeira is a 20 min drive. This former fishing village is now a major holiday destination with sandy beaches and a busy nightlife. There's a modern marina with boat trips, dolphin watching and diving - plus a waterfront promenade. Nearby at Guia there's a large shopping mall.

Loule (a typical Portuguese market town) is 25 mins away - visit on market day to see the locals out shopping (open most days but best on Saturday morning).

There are many high quality golf courses very nearby: Vilamoura Old Course, Pinhal, Millenium, Laguna and Victoria all within 10mins drive. All Vale de Lobo courses are within 30mins. Salgados - 25 mins and Morgado - 40mins.

The motorway is nearby too - enabling you to explore the whole length of the Algarve coastline with just a 40min drive. Faro Airport is 25 mins away along the N125.
