About Jan & Errol

We came to Tresaith 38 years ago on our first holiday together and fell in love with it. We moved here a year ago and lived in the property while building a house in Tresaith. We loved living in the house, there are not many places where you can sit on your deck with a stream running just below you and catch glimpses of the sea through the trees that surround you.

Jan & Errol purchased this house in 2013

Why Jan & Errol chose Tresaith

The property is in a private drive with four other houses, in a very peaceful

location, having glimpses of the sea and within a few minutes walk of the beach.

There are 4 double bedrooms; two king with en-suites, one double and one twin.

The house has a large kitchen diner and spacious lounge. From the lounge, patio

doors open to a paved terrace and lawn. The rear of the house has a large decked area, with a barbeque and seating and is bordered by trees and a stream. There is ample parking on the driveway .

What makes this house unique

The location is ideal for a peaceful holiday of walking and relaxing or nearby there are Historical sites, boat trips, bird watching, country shows, markets and a local theatre and art centre. For the more energetic there are extensive sporting activities available locally including cycling, quad biking, go-karting, golf and even a dry ski slope! For young children there is pony trekking, water and adventure parks, activity centres and farms, offering interesting alternative experiences

Fantastic house very cosy

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house, it was very spacious and modern. It was equipped with everything we needed.

Kitchen very spacious and living room very comfortable. We loved staying there and felt were much at home.

The location was beautiful and peaceful with the beach only a few minutes walk. The beach and sea were tranquil and the walks had magnificent views.

The people were very friendly and lots to do.

We enjoyed dolphin watching and a trip to cardigan for spot of shopping and nice eating places.

Faultless, superb location, 5 star accommodation.

  • 5 of 5

I was so impressed last year my family and I came back again this year, and we weren't disappointed. The location, the accommodation would be hard pressed to find anywhere better in the area. On both visits the age range was from 90 to 8 and everyone was happy. Dogs are welcome everywhere which was very important to me. I would whole heartedly recommend going for a swim wet suit essential! You never know you may end up swimming with the Dolphins!

Excellent Property and Location

  • 5 of 5

Used the property for a week in August for a break and also to host some friends and family. The house is finished to a very high standard with all the appliances and accessories we needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the decking overlooking the stream - perfect for morning coffee and evening BBQ's. Very peaceful and private location but only a short walk down to the pub and beach. Great hosts who were very keen to make sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Would certainly return.

A Welsh wonder

  • 5 of 5

We found the holiday home absolutely faultless. It was very much a home from home. Whilst being located in the country so you do feel like you have got away from it all, there are still the little life essentials like the Internet for our teenagers. There is also a Satelitte dish and connectivity to enable one to bring your own sky box. As for the location it's like Cornwall without the crowds. Try the ship inn about 10 - 15 min walk it's got good real ale and amazing sunsets. Go for a walk on the many beautiful and clean beaches, or along the cliff edge. Always something to do or not; you can have any holiday you want. We also found a gold mine (care of the National Trust). Liked it so much we are already booked to go back.

Fabulous property in lovely seaside village

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a short break with children and grandparents. The house was immaculately presented on arrival, with everything you need in a holiday let but so often don't get. The kitchen was really well stocked with equipment, cleaning items and basics, like salt, pepper, oils, sauces etc. There were games and beach items for the children and all towels and beach towels provided. The decking area is a lovely place to sit and relax or have a meal and the house is spacious inside with big rooms and three bathrooms. It is a short walk to the beach, although uphill on the way back. The beach itself is fabulous, lots of rocks and coves to expore but great for swimming too, with lifeguards patrolling. There is a small shop where you can get ice creams and a pub, the Ship Inn, with wonderful views out to sea.

Superb location and property

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Ravenscroft at Whitsun this year and had a wonderful time. The house itself is superb and is equipped to a very high standard. This allowed for our family to want for nothing during our stay. The owners proved to be helpful having and extensive knowledge of the local area. The house itself has four superb bedrooms that made the stay extremely comfertable. The kitchen is equally well furnished to all for all levels of culinary standards. The location is outstanding with a wide range of picturesque places to visit within a few miles of the propert. I would highly recommend the property to anyone interested in visiting this stunning location and property.

Tresaith is a small quiet hamlet on the west coast of Wales. The beach is sheltered and ideal for swimming, body boarding and kayaking and has a lifeguard during the summer period. The area is residential, with just a pub (Ship Inn) and beach shop. Tresaith is on the Ceredigion coastal path where seals, dolphins and interesting birds can be spotted. There are numerous, alternative, beautiful beaches nearby.
