Stunning one bedroom apartment close to the beach - sleeps up to four people

Luxury one bed apartment in ideal seaside location near to beach, bars, local shops and restaurants. This bright, spacious first floor flat sleeps up to four people: large bedroom with super king size bed (which can be split into two single beds if required) and open plan lounge with large sofa which converts to a full size double bed. Facilities include: gas central heating, bathroom with shower, lounge with dining area, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and oven, washing machine, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Also supplied: bedding, towels and bathrobes, hair drier, iron and ironing board, free wifi, catch-up TV, DVD player and stereo with iPod dock. Complimentary welcome pack also included. Please note: a charge of £20 per week applies for use of the sofa bed.

Ideal Apartment

Our stay in North Berwick was as good as we could have hoped for and the apartment played a big part in that. It is comfortable and well located. Martin's friendly welcome included saving us space outside to park, help in offloading and a full tutorial on all of the equipment in the apartment. This instruction was very useful as there is a lot of techie kit, most of which we used at some time during our week there. Martin's welcome pack of goodies was also very much appreciated, with the very nice bottle of wine going down especially well.

The location is great for good eating places, in fact we had three lovely dinners within 150 yards of the front door, in Cucina Amore, Signals and Zitto.

We would highly recommend this apartment - it has everything you could ever need, for however long you might stay.

A lovely comfortable apartment right next to the beach and centre of North Berwick.

A wonderful apartment with everything needed for a very comfortable holiday. Martin the owner was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. All the furnishings were far better than expected and the kitchen was amazing, with every bit of kit that you can think of. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. The location was perfect as well, seconds from the beach and town centre where there are many places to eat and plenty of amenities.

We were very comfortable and lacked for nothing during our 3 week stay. Excellent kitchen.

We needed a place to stay while helping my 91-year old mother move into her new retirement flat. Martin's well appointed, warm and comfortable apartment fit the bill perfectly. The location is terrific only a 5-minutes walk from the High Street in one direction and the Scottish Sea Bird Center and the quay in the other. Several restaurants, a Pub, Chinese take-out, fish and chips and an excellent bistro are just around the corner. The bed was very comfortable and we are very picky about our mattresses - we have a Tempurpedic at home.

We really appreciated the very well equipped kitchen and brand new hob and ovens ... since we were staying 3 weeks we did actually use the kitchen making stews with local meat purchased at the excellent butchers - Anderson's - on the High Street. In fact I could not even figure out what some of the utensils in the kitchen were for! There was even a table-top George Foreman grill.

Martin was an attentive and caring host who always responded quickly to our requests such as a reading light --- and did not seem to mind that we had to call him for help with working the TV and the washing machine. My only quibble about the apartment is that some of the appliances seemed overly complicated to use but once you had mastered them they all worked wonderfully. If you love gadgets ... you will love this apartment! Thank you Martin for making us feel so at home.

Wow! What a little gem!

Hidden away on pretty street is this little find! Upon arrival we were greeted by Martin who was incredibly helpful, reserving a parking space directly outside and providing a warm welcome.

Once inside the apartment we were not disappointed, the apartment is exactly as advertised and so very clean.

We had a welcome pack that included bread, cereal, chocolates and wine!!! (WOW) as Martin showed us around the apartment it was clear that a lot of care had been taken when putting the final touches in, there is everything you could possibly need and more!

It was clear that should we have any problems we could call on Martin with out hesitation, he was brilliant and checked in on us via text occasionally which was very well received.

We stayed at the apartments for 6 nights and had a wonderful time! Myself, my partner our 25yr old daughter and her partner felt right at home in the apartment and despite there being four adults the apartment still felt spacious! It is beautifully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfy, the sofa bed actually has a memory foam topper!

The location of the apartment is perfect, literally around the corner from the seafront and a 2 minute stroll into the heart of North Berwick where the cafes and restaurants are.

During our stay we ate out a few times, but there is a tesco 5 minutes away should you chose to stay in and enjoy the apartment as we did occasionally. If you decide to eat out you should certainly try the lobster shack located on the harbour or the rocketeer by the seabird centre both have the same menu and stock and are really wonderful! We would also recommend Signals Bistro, 2 minutes away from the apartment in the centre of town. The menu is lovely and the quality of food is second to none!

There are loads of places to go for a meal or a coffee and a cake, each of them great and welcoming!

We throughly enjoyed our time in North Berwick made better by the high standards of our apartment. It was a real home from home, we highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed!

A very relaxing break in a lovely apartment!

My husband grew up in North Berwick, so we know the area well. However, this didn't prevent us from having one of the best holidays we've had in years. The very well appointed apartment and helpfulness of Martin meant that we were truly able to relax and enjoy the stunning local scenery, as well as visiting the Edinburgh Fringe [ a Day Return train ticket from N.Berwick costs just £6.40 and trains take just over 30mins direct!]

A welcome pack, which included some beautiful bread, bottle of wine, shortbread and more, awaited us upon arrival. The apartment is extremely well appointed and our daughter coped very well on the sofabed [with mattress topper!] whilst my husband and I had a lovely bedroom, very large bed, ample fitted cupboards and TV. Also a lovely bathroom with roomy shower and lots of personal touches, such as shower caps, first aid kit, shampoo and shower gel etc. The kitchen was full of gadgets, from coffee machines to electric bin! Everything has been carefully thought out and we wish East Bay Lettings every success with this new apartment! Thank you for a lovely holiday! We hope to visit again!
