Castle House Farm includes a Grade ll listed farmhouse, which has been carefully restored by the current owners. It has been in the same family for 70 years; purchased by Harry and Becky Brownridge in 1947 for their son Arthur Matthew. The oldest part of the house is 17th Century , but it is thought the property is on the site of a much older long barn. The presence of original Yorkshire sliders, Georgian sash windows and Victorian casements provide a clue to the development of the farmhouse over previous centuries. It lies in the historic and picturesque village of Hunmanby. It is about three miles from lovely, sandy beaches and is also the gateway to the gently rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. It features original beams and tiled corridors, uneven with wear in places. Most of the upstairs rooms feature cast iron fire places. The decor is sympathetic but with a modern twist.

Highchair & Cot are available.

This is a non smoking property.

Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a surcharge (£25 per pet).

Brownridge Cottage lies in the historic an picturesque village of Hunmanby. It is about three miles from lovely, sandy beaches and is also the gateway to the gently rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. It features some original exposed chalk walls inside with an original brick exterior-a feature of considerable interest to conservation experts.

The property consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs there is 1 Double Bedroom and 1 twin room with a family shower room.

Bedlinen & Towels are provided.

Highchair & Cot are available.

This is a non smoking property.

One well behaved dog is welcome at a surcharge (£25).

Available for weekend and midweek breaks.

Brownridge Cottage features onsite parking for one vehicle, with more free parking situated a short distance away from the property.

There is also a BBQ facility and a garden table provided by the courtyard by the adjacent cowhouse.

Hunmanby is a relaxed village with a holiday-style way of life, you are close to the beach and within a short drive of the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Filey. Perfect for taking the kids down to the beach with a bucket and spade, grabbing some fish and chips or enjoying an ice cream.

Just a short drive down the road is The Bay, Filey. The Bay is home to a leisure centre boasting a gym, sauna and swimming pool. On site you will also find a putting green, tennis court and the John Paul Jones pub which serves great food - we recommend the gourmet burgers!

Walking or cycling routes are in abundance along this coast, so there is plenty to do. There are also a selection of local golf courses within reach if you want bring your clubs!
