Lovely cozy country cottage

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cottage with beautiful views. Ver homely & cozy - wish we could have stayed longer. Only negative (& this wasn't a huge issue), was the drive was a little difficult to get onto & back on the road.

Would definitely recommend & will be staying here again!

Loved staying here. Jill was so accommodating all the little extras she provided made it all the more special. Baxter loved his doggy treat! Well equipped and cozy. The log burner was fab. Defo try busfield arms pub, the food was gorgeous. Can't wait to visit again

Amazing views

  • 4 of 5

Lavender cottage is a lovely place to stay, cosy and comfortable, the decor in bedrooms is fab. Only couple of niggles, car parking space , if you have a large vehicle, is difficult to access, and to be honest the traffic noise is considerable.

Beautiful property with amazing views.

  • 5 of 5

The stay was sadly for 2 nights only due to work commitments. The location, property and views are to die for. We hope to come back soon and spend more time to enjoy the area and surroundings.

Fine, perfect for our requirements

  • 5 of 5

There should be a Lavender Cottage plaque on the garage door, then it would be fairly apparent on arrival that access will be required by others through the gate.

On unloading on arrival, and during reloading on departure the neighbours car appeared wanting access, these were the only two occasions.

On departure I did humorously suggest that he was becoming a nuisance, we had spoken with him earlier at the Busfeild Arms so it was taken with the intended good humour.
