Two bedroom penthouse apartment, situated on the beach. Fully air-conditioned with marble floors throughout.

Furnished and decorated to a high standard.

There are two communal swimming pools, one of which is a children’s pool, showers, disabled toilets and first aid block. The pools are open from the beginning of June until the mid September (the exact dates are out of our control). Life guards are on duty when the pools are open. The pool area is for residents and guests only, and has grass, palm trees and is next to the beach. There is access to and from the beach via gates opened by key or via intercom linked to the apartment.

At the rear of the apartments there are basket ball and padel courts and a table tennis table.

Living area:

Full height bi-folding doors which open up onto a balcony, with sea view.

The room is furnished with a leather sofa, two easy chairs, wall unit, television, dining table and five chairs, LCD flat screen television (with built in freeview, some channels can be viewed in their original language) with Disney Channel in English.

High-chair available.


Fully fitted kitchen, equipped with dish washer, washing machine, fridge/freezer, hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, plates, bowls, drinking and wine glasses, mugs, pots, pans and cutlery.

Double bed, with pocket sprung mattress.

Two bedside tables and bedside lights.

Wardrobe & drawers.

Wall light & full length mirror.

There is room for the (Mamas and Papas) cot.


Second bedroom:

One single bed and bunk beds all with pocket sprung mattresses.

Outside patio/balcony:

Table and five chairs.

The two easy chairs can be taken outside for extra comfort.

Sea views and views of the children's swimming pool.

Full width extending sun blind to provide shade should you wish to avoid direct sunlight. The balcony is open to the sky, so great for star gazing of an evening.

Children’s facilities:

As parents we have tried to think of all the things that make holidaying with a baby or young child easier. The apartment therefore has a cot (Mamas and Papas), microwave sterilizer, high chair, which can be converted to a low chair, a selection of DVDs, toys and books. TV has Disney Channel in English. You do not have to climb stairs anywhere in the building if you do not wish; there are lifts and slopes making it very easy for pushchairs.


Everyone, couples, families with children, the elderly and wheelchair users.

The apartment is non-smoking inside.

Large lagoon swimming pool and children's pool. Life guards, first aid room and pool showers.

The swimming pools are open mid June to mid September (exact dates are out of our control). Basketball and padel courts, and a table tennis table situated behind the apartment building.

Lifts and slopes throughout building, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs users.

Private underground allocated parking space including in the price.

Modern security and safety features: fire alarms and extinguishers in the block, one directly outside the front door.

Communal areas are illuminated by movement responsive lighting.

Situated outside the apartment on the beach are a children's climbing frame with slide and exercise machines, which are free to use.

Hello my name is Michelle. I am married & have a young daughter. We divide our time between London & Spain. We own 2 apartments in the same building in Castell de Ferro, which we have owned from new. We spent 2 years looking for the right apartments for us as a family.

As a family we love the sea and beach & snow skiing.

We love the Spanish way of life, the fresh food, the weather & the people.

The apartment building & apartment are both modern, clean & comfortable. Castell de Ferro is a traditional Spanish seaside town. No noisy nightclubs, typically Spanish, fish boats, bars, with tapas, restaurants with typical Spanish food, also banks, super markets & a town square. Long beach with crystal clear water. Close to the ski resort, Sierra Nevada. Family friendly apartment. Large swimming pool with life guards.
