The property is part of a large Georgian building Circa 1825. It was converted into residential cottages in 2002 my wife and I have owned it since then.It is set in a walled and gated private gardens of around 9 acres of well maintained lawned areas private roads with off road parking The house has original georgian sash windows and lovely high ceilings compliment all rooms.
On the ground floor we have 3 bedrooms plus a large family bathroom. The large master bedroom has full en suite facilities with a large powerful shower,low level WC, A mirrored bathroom cabinet,A wash hand basin , a large mirror with integral shaver socket and combined fluorescent light.
It has a double bed, a wardrobe with matching bedside cabinets plus a Samsung 32" flat screen tv with freeview The second bedroom also has a double bed with bedside tables a double wardrobe and a bookcase . The third bedroom has full size bunk beds with pocket sprung mattresses and a double wardrobe. Off the hallway there is a large cupboard with ironing board,iron sun loungers vacuum cleaner etc .
On the first floor there is a separate lounge with 42" Smart TV with freeview and a DVD player .We have fast broadband Wi/Fi by EE and is free to use throughout your stay. Across the landing a pair of doors lead to the fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher,washer/drier ,Neff single oven ,Neff microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary pots , pans cooking utensils. tableware and cutlery and tea towels etc.
You should find everything necessary to cook a lovely meal for six people and serve it on a full size dining table with 6 chairs.
Outside is a lawned area for relaxing we provide sun loungers and fold away sun chairs which are stored under the stairs in the hallway.

After visiting the county for over 25 years we knew the areas very well so when we decided to buy our own bit of Cornwall we chose Bodmin because of its central location it is so easy to travel around Cornwall from here.

We are ideally located near Bodmin Moor which is just a delightful area of natural beauty with wild ponies, horses ,sheep and untold varieties of flora and birds , With Cardinham Woods less than 5 minutes away by car the moors are so easy to explore. We are so centrally located for easy access to the main arterial road of Cornwall the A30 trunk road just ( 5 minutes away by car )

Lovely house, very central to get around Cornwall. Enjoyed our stay and very happy with the facilities offered.
Very comfortable and well maintained
A welcome gift of scones, jam and clotted cream started the holiday. Bodmin is conveniently placed for exploring both coasts as well as inland, and we had plenty to do. Unfortunately we did have problems with the boiler, but Keith arranged for an engineer to call and we were not inconvenienced by having to stay in, and hot water was restored by the time we returned. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Cornwall.
Loverly house in a great location for exploring Cornwall
We had a great time staying in this delightful house. The property was nice and clean throughout and very comfortable.
Bodmin is a great central location for exploring all of Cornwall including the fantastic beaches in the north and south coast.

A five minute walk and we are in the centre of Bodmin Village,
The house is set in some beautiful gated grounds and the children played outside safely. All local beaches and Cornish attractions are in easy reach by car.We Will definitely go again.
Fantastic house in the perfect location
Our kids fondly referred to this house as 'the upside down house' as the bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor where there are great views of this lovely estate. We visited last week with our dog and had a fabulous time. The owners were very fast with communication, which made the booking process easy. We spent some time walking and biking on the camel trail which meant we worked up an appetite! On two occasions we ate at the Borough Arms, which is very close to the house and is possibly the best carvery I have ever had! I'd have eaten there every night if it was my choice, but the kids dictated otherwise. :-) We also managed to visit Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park and the kids had a fantastic time - we highly recommend the water slides! (But note; no dogs at Crealy's so we were lucky to have dog sitters down for the day). We also visited Padstow and Rock, which is an absolute must if you stay here. St Ives is around an hour away, so also great for a day out - possibly my favourite part of the UK. Back to the house...it's stunning and full of character. It was clean and the location was ideal for a stroll in to Bodmin Town or a short drive to any one of a number of lovely seaside towns that are in that part of the world. We will not hesitate to stay in this house again.

THE CAMEL TRAIL is one of the most successful recreational trails in the UK,providing access to the beautiful cornish countryside winding along the Camel estuary between Wadebridge and Padstow, ( 5.5miles),The trail runs from Wenford to Padstow via Bodmin It is 17 miles long in total, virtually flat and level and safe as it is closed to motorised traffic,It is very popular with cyclists
and walkers alike you can rent all types of cycles in Wadebridge
