La Bergerie has one double, one single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan living area complete with wood-burning stove. The bathroom consists of shower, wc and washbasin.

Several bars/restaurants providing anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal, a general store, bakery, butcher and tabac are located in Caudies 10 minutes drive and the larger village of St Paul 20 minutes drive offers several restaurants, banks, petrol stations, bakery, butcher, tabac and a medium sized Carrefour supermarket.

Within an hour you can visit the thermal baths at Rennes les Bains an example of the Roman architectural finesse. Climb one of the largest Cathar castles - Peyrepetuse for incredible views of the region. Descend the Gorge de Galamus at St Paul to Ermitage de St Antoine built into the rock side and swim in the beautiful plunge pools below. Admire Mount Canigou the sacred mountain of Catalan people that dominates the Eastern Pyrenees. Visit the larger town of Perpignan with its museums, cathedrals and extensive shopping areas or spend the day at one of the Mediterranean Beaches/Coves for a day lazing in the sun to name just a few.
