A luxury front line high specification air conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom golf / beach apartment with view of the Mediterranean, Rock of Gibraltar and Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The South facing terrace, from which you can hear the Sea, soaks up the sun all day long whilst, inside, the apartment is cool and spacious. Situated on the Alcaidesa Golf Course the appartment is only a minute walk to the 3 miles of Blue Flag beaches and is ideal for a golfing, pool or beach holiday.

The Master bedroom, with king sized bed, has its own terrace with a superb view to wake up to, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a hydro massage Jacuzzi bath. In the second bedroom there are 2 single beds which can be joined to create another kingsize double. All beds have high quality mattresses. The leather sofabed easily converts into a third kingsize bed which is remarkably comfortable as it comes equipped with a quality topper. The Family bathroom is also equipped with a bath and enclosed shower. Additional features include a Samsung SMART (internet) TV (40"), UK Freeview & Sky Pack and free WiFi Internet access. This is our second home and we are always adding home comforts to this already high spec apartment. Equipped to very high standards including fully installed air conditioning system, domotics system, electric shutters in the bedrooms, climalit double glazing, fully fitted kitchens with Siemens electrodomestic appliances, laundry area with washing machine, fitted wardrobes and 24 hours security. All of this provides superb comfort and relaxation. The apartment is extremely spacious and has to be viewed to be believed!

Within easy reach of this unique location, there are a multitude of opportunities for relaxation, discovery and sport. Take a whale and dolphin watching trip or fish for tuna in the Straits of Gibraltar. The waters off the coast of Andalucia are home to a large population of whales and dolphins.

Or head west to the Atlantic coast and the old port town of Tarifa, where you will find an exciting mix of old and new. Overlaid against a backdrop of the ancient and beautifully preserved Moorish town and port of Tarifa is the ultra-modern, ultra-cool vibe of Europe's most popular watersports' destination. The combination of beautiful long white sandy beaches and almost constant winds, have made Tarifa a 'must-do' location for windsurfers and kitesurfers from around the globe for over 4 decades.

The town of Sotogrande can be reached within a few minutes and is ideal for a day out. It has numerous excellent restaurants, bars and nightlife. It also has a variety of sports facilities, countless shops and a marina where impressive yachts can be found. It’s also famous for its huge Valderrama golf course, where the European tour is played every year. Here you can mix with the rich and famous, play tennis, watch Polo matches and even hire a yacht. Another popular destination is Gibraltar with its duty free shops and unique British atmosphere. The “Rock” is also famous for its apes and the caves that can be visited. Great Chill Out Place

We got what we went for...a complete chill out in a very nice apartment. Very few people around (11-18/9/16) and we had the beautiful pool to ourselves most days. Flew into Gibraltar so about a 20 minute drive to the resort. You DO need a car! We ate at the beach cafe/restaurant which was nice but the Thai restaurant, just outside the entrance to the resort, food was superb. TV was great to have for the evenings. Enjoyed eating out on the patio, view was so beautiful. Elaine was extremely helpful with the handover and on leaving.

Spotless apartment in a quiet residential area

The apartment is spotless with immaculate pools and gardens. The apartment comes with wifi, satellite TV and all kitchen appliances, the only negative was the bedding and towels. We stayed for 2 weeks but only had one set of bedding and 1 towel per person, although, there is a washing machine so I was able to change the beds, I would have liked a change of bedding and clean towels for the second week.

The 4 pools are all close to the apartment, and most of the time, very quiet, in the mornings we had the pool to ourselves and even in the evenings we were only sharing it with a handful of people. The pools are deep and there is no small pool, so I won't recommend it if your kids can't swim.

This area is VERY quiet, there is a small corner shop and 3 restaurants in the square but this is a 20 min uphill walk away. The beach is a 5/10 minute walk away but this beach has no amenities, if you want a toilet and a place to get a drink, it is a good 20 minute walk away. We found the area a good place to explore from but you need a car, even to get to a decent shop or a restaurant. La Finca is 3 km not 0.8km, it's a great restaurant but it's 40 minutes walk so you need to drive.

Very well kept apartment with a marvellous seeview.

Due to Elaine we felt at home immediately. She gave all the information we needed about the apartment (the airco, the shutters, the TV etc), parking (safely in the parkinglot beneath the apartments), the nearest supermarkets and the little shops in the park. We loved to play the two golfcourses, to walk to the beach which is very peaceful and to visit Gibraltar, which is very near.

Our holiday at this apartment was great ,all facilities were on the door step ,we made good use of the pool, and the beach , which was a stones throw away. would recommend this location to anyone, you need a car to explore ,

Modern, well-furnished holiday apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this modern, well furnished apartment. La Marina de la Alcaidesa feels like the newest development in Alcaidesa. Building was modern, the pool areas spacious and everywhere looked well maintained.

Apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms was spacious and the terrace off the master and the lounge offered nice views over the Links Course to the sea. Wifi was strong and reliable. Local concierge Barbara was very kind and helpful; definitely an asset. Booking process smooth and hassle free.

Underground car park would be useful but the nominated space was a tight squeeze. No probs though to leave the car outside in the road, which is what we did. All in all a great stay and I'm sure we will return.

wonderful holiday

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in dem überaus gepflegten, modernen, liebevoll ausgestatteten Appartement. Der Strand liegt vor der Haustüre und die gepflegte Anlage inmitten von Golfplätzen hat vier wunderbare pools. Frühstück auf der Terasse mit Blick auf das Meer und Gibraltar - was will man mehr?? Absolut empfehlenswert.

The apartment is managed by experienced local agents, who will meet you on arrival, guide you to the apartment, and show you around. We have secure underground parking, 24hr gated security and a choice of four beautiful communal pools, surrounded by tropical gardens tended to by a full time gardener.
