The property also benefits from an adjacent secure double garage and off road parking.
Downstairs there is a large modern open plan living/dining area with stone floors and patio doors leading out onto the garden. The living area contains a large corner sofa, coffee table, satellite tv and DVD player, Playstation and games and dining table and chairs.There is also a separate fitted, fully equipped open plan kitchen including large fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, both brand new dishwasher and washing machine and ample cupboard and worktop space.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms and a bathroom with freestanding period bath and shower and enamel washbasin.
Bedroom 1 is furnished with new mahogany double bed, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, desk and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 also contains new mahogany double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and lamp.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, llinen chest, chair and travel cot.
The upstairs rooms all lead off a large landing which contains a wardrobe and mahogany daybed.
For families, there is a travel cot, high chair, baby chair, stairgate and numerous toys for small children. Please note that small children should not be left unsupervised upstairs with the windows and shutters open, due to the design of the windows in tradtional Charentaise houses.
Bed linen and towels are available for a supplement of £10 per person. Please bring your own beach towels.
Lusseau is a tranquil hamlet surrounded by fields of sunflowers and corn and there are many beautiful local walks accessible from the house. Landes, with its popular bakery and grocery store is a two minute drive away. St Jean d'Angely - a thriving market town with a wealth of amenities,is just a 10 minute drive. The nearest airport is la Rochelle - a 50 minute drive away, with Poitiers and Bordeaux also being easily accessible. The coast is only 30 minutes away and there are numerous places to explore in the region, including Cognac, Rochefort, la Rochelle and the Ile de Re.
