Having viewed many properties in the surrounding area, this particular spot had it all. Not too far from the Airport, easy access to surrounding areas, either Inland to the Beautiful Mountains with Cycle Routes & Walking Tracks or to the Coast with their Blue Flag Beaches, Shops with plenty of Bars & Restaurants

It was a lovely area good view and nice villa.

We stayed here last summer for over a week and thought the villa was lovely, very difficult to find at first but once you get your bearings its easy. It was more than large enough for the three of us and rather homely. The kitchen was rather small but fully functional. Unfortunately one of the closets smelled damp so we just used the suitcase, best check with the owner if damp issues have been corrected since our stay. The pool is the Jewel and a great size, with a lovely tiled lounge area. We had a small problem with sewage smells coming from a tank of sorts in an adjoining land but this was really dependant on the direction of the wind! Be very careful on the outside tiled steps leading down to the pool area, they could do with anti slip strips, we did slip a few times but managed to hold on.

We met one of the English neighbours who was really nice and did some chores on behalf of the owner. The owner also showed very good communication and response skills. All said, my wife and daughter adored this place and our stay, I'm probably more of a perfectionist.

Owner's Response: Thank you Fazin for your review BUT you stayed over 13 Months ago!?!?! It might have been better had the review been 13 Months ago at the time of your stay & therefore a little more relevant a lot happens in a year! The Villa is more than adequate for 6 guests, it is a Holiday Home, the kitchen which is fully equipped, isn't perhaps the largest , but larger than a lot of UK Kitchens & fully functional. Since your stay 13 Months ago, the 'closet' which in fact is a wardrobe; I was a little concerned over, you saying it smelled damp, as the Villa had been in full occupancy from May 2015 & I would've expected previous guests to have mentioned it to me or the key holders who live next door & check the Villa for me regularly; The Summer Months are extremely hot & I can only wonder what would cause a 'damp' smell. I travelled out in September 15, a Month after your departure & could find no evidence of damp so couldn't rectify a smell as there wasn't one. I have put dehumidifiers in all wardrobes since just as a precaution. As for the tiled steps leading down to the pool area, I have to say they are the VERY same tiles that surround the pool which are anti slip & have water on them constantly?! I am a little confused over this as they are specifically produced for pool areas & stairs as they are ANTI SLIP, even when wet, they have a rough glaze to them so you don't slip...??? I really can't say more than that... I've NEVER had any remarks about the tiled areas being slippery, as I've said, I have had anti slip tiles in these areas because of the wet situations. I do have a directions map on my page & am happy to email guests maps on how to get to the Villa, the Villa isn't in the Village, that's why people book to stay, it's private & you do need a car to stay at the Villa as it's a km to Benitachell. My British Neighbours don't do 'chores' for me, they are the key holders & look after my Guests on my behalf & perform the changeovers. As for the sewerage smell, as I've mentioned, my British neighbours live next door 24/7, I'm sure if there were a smell from land nearby they would be the first to complain to the Town Hall!! I have owned the property for many years, I've not experienced sewerage smells, there have been major water board works to the area & a new water treatment area built up the mountain. A year + on from your stay there have been NO reported smells from any guests or my neighbours mentioning anything to me. I hope this response helps.
