Skrinkle cottage - a lovely little cottage in the Pembrokeshire countryside

  • 5 of 5

Skrinkle Cottage was perfect for my weekend away in Pembrokeshire. It was clean, quiet, well equipped and had a lovely comfy bed. When Wilfie (my dog) and I arrived, Brian, who owns the cottages, was there to welcome uswith his friendly dog Jess and was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction regarding getting to certain places I wanted to visit. The cottage has a little garden to the front which gets the sun in the evening and is a lovely place to sit when you return from a day walking/sight seeing.

The cottage is in a perfect location for visiting many of the beautiful bays along the coast and for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Recommended walks that I really enjoyed were from Stackpole Quay along the coastal path to Bosherston Lily Ponds and back along an inland path - approx 6 miles and Manobier Bay to Swanlake Bay. I walked there and back along the coastal path but you can take an inland path back (some quite steep climbs involved). Take a trip down to Skrinkle Haven and have coffee and cake in the Skrinkle Cafe next to the Youth Hostel.

I am looking forward to my next visit to this area and would definitely book Skrinkle Cottage again. Thank you Brian

The cottage has eveything you need for your stay, Brian is welcoming and helpful. Had a great week of beautiful weather, and enjoyed after a long day out, coming on and relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine. Will definitely be back, Thank you Brian for making a weeks holiday so nice.

Lovely setting

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for 1 week in June Lovely homely cottage, the owner Brian was there to welcome us on our arrival. The cottage was clean and decorated lovely. Plenty of cupboard space, kitchen well equipped. Great walk though the fields to the local pub about 20 mins away. Just one thing I would say is a couple of hooks for coats to dry when it's been raining. We will be back xx

Sweet Little Cottage.

  • 5 of 5

We have just spent four nights at Shrinkle Cottage with our two grandchildren during half term.Well equiped with all you need.A welcome tray of tea and biscuits, went down very well after our long journey. Ideally situated for touring the area.Having a small, gated garden was great for our little dog.The children loved everthing about it and did not want to leave.Lovely cottage at a very reasonable price.Highly recommend a stay here.
