Skrinkle cottage - a lovely little cottage in the Pembrokeshire countryside

  • 5 of 5

Skrinkle Cottage was perfect for my weekend away in Pembrokeshire. It was clean, quiet, well equipped and had a lovely comfy bed. When Wilfie (my dog) and I arrived, Brian, who owns the cottages, was there to welcome uswith his friendly dog Jess and was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction regarding getting to certain places I wanted to visit. The cottage has a little garden to the front which gets the sun in the evening and is a lovely place to sit when you return from a day walking/sight seeing.

The cottage is in a perfect location for visiting many of the beautiful bays along the coast and for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Recommended walks that I really enjoyed were from Stackpole Quay along the coastal path to Bosherston Lily Ponds and back along an inland path - approx 6 miles and Manobier Bay to Swanlake Bay. I walked there and back along the coastal path but you can take an inland path back (some quite steep climbs involved). Take a trip down to Skrinkle Haven and have coffee and cake in the Skrinkle Cafe next to the Youth Hostel.

I am looking forward to my next visit to this area and would definitely book Skrinkle Cottage again. Thank you Brian

Good value for the money we paid.. pretty cottage and very cosy!

  • 5 of 5

We have just come back from a lovely half term break down at this little cottage. It's in a lovely location and was well equipment for a family of all ages. The beds was comfortable and it was clean!! Brian was very welcoming and left us a tray of tea and cookies from the local shop on arrival , this put an instant smile on our little ones face! 😁򐐮.. The location is good and it's easy to find, ideal for a base if you enjoy exploring the area and there is plenty of local walks that take you to the beach, again Brian gave us some local knowledge of costal pathway walks.. we will defiantly be booking again.. sooner rather than later.. Thank you x

Delightful cottage

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for a wonderful , although brief stay on our behalf due to our work commitments in your beautiful cottage .

The location was peaceful and quiet and 5 min drive from manorbier beach.

And then Tenby was only a 10min drive.

One of the main reason for our visit was to take our daughter to folly farm , it's an absolute must for the whole family and great value.

Returning at the end of a busy day to our lovely and spacious holiday cottage.

It was warm and cosy and had everything you needed.

And a very nice welcome from the owner .

Thanks again - we hope to be back for a longer visit in the near future .

All the best

Brassington/ Boyt family .

Great cottage, great location

  • 5 of 5

Really warm welcome from Brian who had great knowledge of the local area. The cottage was clean and tidy, very warm and comfortable for us to base ourselves in for a walking holiday with our dog. Will definitely be booking again as it's a great base for Tenby and other coastal walks.

A comfortable cottage. Helpful owner. Good space, all mod cons and comfy bed. Dog safe front garden and plenty of outdoor space for doggy exercise. Close to beaches and coastal walks

Cottage in need of some refurbishment, especially the bathroom.

  • 3 of 5

The owner made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable enough and well equipped, but would benefit from some general upgrading to bring it in line with other self catering properties available on the market.
