House is situated in the crofting area of Lochcarron above the village so it is higher up than the village with stunning views. It is very tranquil you do not get the busy traffic passing the house just the odd car or two for the houses up on Croft Road

There is an 8 hole golf course in the village, tickets can be purchased for fishing and pony trekking booked nearby. The mountain ranges are suitable for the the beginner or professional walker.

I was born and brought up in Lochcarron and now live a 40 minute drive away in Glenshiel where I have stay for the last 50 years. I am widowed and the councillor for Strathpeffer, Wester Ross and Lochcalsh which included Lochcarron, a job I have enjoyed doing for the last 15 years. My son runs the farm in Glenshiel where we do pony trekking

Lovely house with a spectacular view over Lochcarron. The house has everything you need and a big garden, our kids had a great time on the dry days.

The surroundings are wonderful and it's near the beautiful Isle of Skye.

This was my family home as I grew up which I inherited when my late parents passed away. I have completely renovated the property to modern standards. Druim-nan-Deur is situated above the village of Lochcarron with beautiful views over Lochcarrom

Lochcarron is situated by the shores of Lochcarron a 40 minute drive to Applecross, a 45 minute drive to the Torridon mountains, an hour drive to Inverewe Gardens, a 30 minute drive to Shieldaig, a 40 minute drive to Eilean Donan Castle, a 20 minute drive to the award winning Attladale Gardens, a30 minute drive to Plockton and an hour drive to The Isle-of Skye. Lochcarron is the longest village in Scotland, Druim-nan-Deur is situated on Croft Road above the village of Lochcarron. You take the first turning right beside Lochcarron Garage as you enter the village. It has a stunning view across Lochcarron towards Attadale Gardens. It has a large enclose garden with outdoor table and chairs for you to view the scenery. Hillwalking is easily accessible with Wellingtons Nose and mountain ranges surrounding the village. The village is popular for yatching. Local arts and crafts are made in the village. Wild life is prominent in the area. The train service comes into Strathcarron 2 miles from the village The house comprises of auxilliary room with washing machine, tumble dryer, pay phone and fridge freezer, there is a large fully fitted kitchen with a wide range of cooking utensils, fridge, dishwasher and large oak dining room table and chairs. The sitting room has a multi purpose burner, Skye T.V., Blue Tooth C.D.

player. There are 3 bedrooms 2 double and a twin, which sleeps 6 people. The bathroom has a walk in power shower with splashback fitted right round. One double room is downstairs and the other double and twin are upstairs. The house is oil centrally heated throughout with an additional bathroom downstairs and cupboard with iron, ironing board and hoover.

The scenery is spectacular in this part of the west coast and the house is situated in good travelling distance for all the areas mention.

Beautiful view of the sea, overlooking award winning Attadale Gardens and centrally located to travel round the West Coast. 45 minute drive to the famous Torridon Hills, another 45 minutes drive over Bealach-nan-Bhan to Applecross, an hour drive to the Isle of Skye . Lochcarron village has an 9 hole golf course and very popular for sailing on Lochcarron, hill loch fishing, can book river fishing, pony trekking can be booked at Shielbridge Trekking Centre, a 40 minute drive away. Druim-nan-Deur has oil central heating aswell as a log burner in the sitting room. The property is very peaceful with washing and drying facilities and private parking. There is a railway station a 15 minute drive from the house taking you to Inverness on the east and Kyle-of-Lochalsh on the west which is the gateway to the Isle-of-Skye. There is a bus service twice a week to Inverness the capital of the Highlands
