About the property

3 bedrooms, garden in a peaceful spot, walking distance to the lake.

This is a lovely just renovated house in the extremely sought after village of Ukanc within walking distance to Vogel Ski resort Gondola.


This house is at the end of the street so no passing cars at all.

Ground floor: There is a good sized open plan living, dining and kitchen area with French doors leading to the gardens and terrace. There is also a WC and a bathroom plus a storage area. Large wood burning stove for the winter après ski nights.

First floor: There are three bedrooms, the main bedroom has French doors to a balcony with terrific mountain views. Remaining 2 bedrooms are attractive twin rooms.

Lower ground floor: A newly installed sauna, together with an adjoining shower are and utility area for washing machine and dryer.

The gardens are lovely, a grassed area and covered terrace and also a Pergola and seating area. A short walk through the woods will get you to the shores of Lake Bohinj and all that this area has to offer. Vogel ski resort (Gondola) can be reached on foot in around 3 minutes.

Lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location

A lovely holiday cottage. Just as described in the listing, warm, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We visited for skiing at Vogel, and the location just a short walk from the cable car station was perfect. But the proximity to the lake and the nearby Savica waterfalls would make it a great place to stay at other times of year. The staff at Slovenia estates were helpful and efficient in arranging the rental. We'd like to say thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful time-out with the whole family! Bestnote

We, two adults and two children, one 18 month and one 8 years old wanted to have a flexible but calm vacation in winter. The house is situated ideal. Just 500 meters far from the ropeway to the skiresort Vogel, behind the house the beginning of lovely walking tours towards the waterfalls and the Triglav Park. And in the house all you need for feeling home. It is ideal when you have children, because there are separate bedrooms and everyone can have its privacy, when needed.

Kitchen is lovely and inviting for cooking.

Yes, we tasted it in winter and we desided it is so nice, we want try again in summer for walking through the mountains.

Perfect vacation in a perfect house

We stayed at this house for almost a week with our 2 kids and we really enjoyed it! First the location is perfect - the house has a perfect location near the Bohinj lake - we traveled to an amazing sight seeing (like Savica waterfall) walking from home!

Second the house is so beautiful, clean and well equipped.

The backyard is amazing and peaceful. We really loved staying in this house and enjoyed all its facilities.

And last but not least - the stuff who keeps this house were great. We didn't need them a lot because everything was perfect - but they were all so kind to us and kept telling us that we can contact them anytime if there's anything we'd need.

Aufenthalt im Sommer und Winter

Das Haus befindet sich in wunderschöner Lage am Bohinij-See, ungefähr 5 min zum See. Es liegt sehr ruhig und etwas abgeschieden. Die Beschreibung lt. Inserat ist zutreffen: eine sehr schöne Ausstattung in Küche, Waschmaschine, Trockner u.v.m. Leider verfügt der TV über keine deutschen Programme. Wir waren in Sommer und Winter 2015 dort; der Zugang zur Gondel, die zum Berg Vogel führt, liegt 2 min entfernt. Man kann das Haus zu jeder Tages- u. Nachtzeit erreichen, da der Schlüssel in einem Safe mit Code hinterlegt ist. Die Infos des Vermieter sind sehr gut und alle zutreffend. Wir fahren im Sommer 2016 wieder dort hin. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, wir würden das Feriendomizil auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, haben es auch bereits gemacht. Freizeitmöglichkeiten im Winter: Spazierengehen, Ski- u. Snowboard, Ausflüge. Im Sommer: baden, Boot, Wanderungen, Klettern uvm. Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. keine direkte Einkaufsmöglichkeit.
