Big, rustic, old Winery with pool in heart of Charente Maritime countryside

If you are looking for a modern house with straight walls, without the odd crack (inside and out), Le Plaud is probably not what you are looking for. If, by contrast, you are looking for something idyllically charming you’ve just found it.

Formerly the owners’ home of a 50 hectare Vineyard, Le Plaud sits in a shallow hollow surrounded by sloping fields of wheat, sunflowers, corn (depending on the year), sheep grazing happily in the adjacent meadow and a four acre woodland at the bottom of the garden. It is, in short, a natural Paradise.
